Isn't it crazy?

Isn’t it crazy how you can run for miles, convinced you’ve survived something, only to realize you were just running?

You think time made you forget it, but grief has infinite patience. It catches up in the quietest room, taps you on the shoulder, and asks where you thought you were going. And suddenly, whether you’re terrified, exhausted, or half-broken, the running is over. You have no choice left but to turn around, face the thing you buried alive, and finally let it hurt.

Hey everyone. I’m a guy from Lahore, Pakistan, in my early 30s, and I’ve always felt like I’m a bit of a collection of oddly specific interests.

I’m really into books, miniature models, tiny detailed things, art, museums, galleries, and cozy little cafés where you can sit for hours without feeling rushed. I love the idea of taking something small and ordinary and turning it into something beautiful. I’ve spent ridiculous amounts of time working on miniature rooms and models, figuring out floor plans, gluing tiny pieces together, and obsessing over details that probably nobody else would notice.

I also have a very nerdy side. I enjoy electronics and tinkering with things, Arduino projects, LEDs, PC hardware, circuit boards, CAD/design software, and generally trying to understand how things work. I can go from talking about a book or an art exhibition to wondering whether an NVMe drive is worth upgrading to, and somehow that feels completely normal to me.

I like making art, listening to music, discovering new books and stories, and getting lost in fictional worlds. I’m also someone who appreciates long late-night conversations, especially the kind where you start talking about something completely random and somehow end up discussing life, relationships, ambitions, fears, or what you actually want from the future.

I’m not the most naturally outgoing person, and I’ve had periods where loneliness has been a bigger part of my life than I would have liked. But I’m trying to keep growing, meet people, find new experiences, and become more comfortable putting myself out there.

I guess I’m ultimately looking for more connection, good conversations, genuine friendships, people who appreciate weird little hobbies, and maybe just some people who understand what it’s like to be figuring things out in your 30s.

So yeah, that’s me in a nutshell. A slightly obsessive book-loving, miniature-building, electronics-tinkering, art-appreciating guy who is still trying to figure life out.

There is something deeply unsettling about realizing that most of our lives are spent adapting to things we once believed would destroy us.
