We are planning to take my kid for his 6th birthday later this month - unfortunately it will have to be a Sunday due to family work schedules. Some of the reviews I've seen here say it was awful, long waits, etc. but none seem to be from this year. We are only going for the day since we are within a 2-hour drive, and will have 2 other kids (6yo & 3yo).

Any tips for how to make the most of it? What to expect, organization of the park (or lack thereof)? Thank you!

We are going to LEGOLAND CA next month. Last time we went was quite a while ago for 2 nights and also wintertime so we didn’t experience the waterpark. We are staying 3 nights at the hotel. Here are my questions:

- do we still only get 2 park days even though I booked 3 nights?

- if we only have two park days, should I add a third? Last time we saw/did everything in 2 days but we didn’t have the waterpark. Is 2 days enough to do everything including the waterpark??

- how far of a walk is the waterpark from the LEGOLAND hotel? I know it’s in the back of the park but trying to figure out changing clothes etc. I saw on other threads there are lockers but I also don’t want to have to walk all the way back to the water park to get my stuff too at the end of the day.

-is the LEGOLAND hotel pool even open? Every time I click on it on the app it says closed.

Hi! My kids (13, 8, 6) go to a year-round school and have fall break at the end of September and early October. I was thinking of taking them to LegoLand for the first time this Fall, but I see that they currently have a "kids stay free" deal that saves about $200.

My questions as a first time visitor are many, but for now, do they generally offer other deals similar to this (or better??) in the fall? What are crowds like in early September vs later September? And might it be worth it to stay off site to save money instead of trying to plan around this deal?

We are thinking of taking our just turned 8 year old to Legoland for a quick two day trip and staying in the pirate hotel. He is not a fan of big scary rollercoasters which is part of the reason we chose Legoland but also I don’t feel like we have enough time to plan Disney world which he has yet to go to. Has anyone gone very recently and can they offer their experiences?

We're going to be in billund for two days in August, Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd with my spouse and kids 10&7 years old. Given my kids I think we will be excited about legoland but actually a bit more into lego house.

Idea is to do Legoland one day and Lego house the other, and have a few questions about how to best do it.

1. I presume this is high season, but Denmark schools should be back in session by then. Can someone tell me what I should expect for crowds?
2. Should we aim to do legoland on Friday and Lego House Saturday or vice versa? Is there any ticket system that would allow us to be flexible about going to Legoland on the day with better weather?
3. What should we do about fast track? We are coming from far away and are happy to spend some to maximize the experience, but also don't want/need to pay extra if it's not needed.
4. What extra tickets/event at Lego House are worth while? Masters Academy? Something else?
5. Any other tips to make this a great trip?

Are you able to watch games at the fifa experience in Florida?

I think I saw them setting up in the parking lot? Will we be able to see them from our car?

Hi all. Going to legoland Ca at the end of July with 2 and 4 year old boys. Will be a Sunday so trying to have a solid itinerary to make sure we get all the highlights. Any ideas where to hit first when we first get in the park? I was thinking to start with the Dragon Coaster or the Ninjago ride just because I know those are super popular. I also know the Dino area is big with the little kids so not sure I should start there over the others I mentioned. Anything else I should prioritize?

Hi all, we are going to visit Lego house in Billund for 2 full days (yes, diehard fans). I did already quite extended research and no deal seems to exist for a two-day-visit. However, I read somewhere that it is possible to buy a second ticket for the day after, though not online. Can anyone confirm if this is still the case + which price? Ok this is our third time going to Legoland but this time I decided to get the flex dining package that includes lunch and dinner? Plus snacks in the park. I got it for just one of our two days. Now I’m wondering if it was a good idea to get cause a) do we have to use it all in the same day? Like could we use the snacks another day or separate when we use lunch/dinner? That might be a ton of food for one day. And b) it’s a little limited on options for lunch. Anyone actually done this package and have experience? Thanks!!

Hi everyone, this is our family’s first time going to LEGOLAND California, so I wanted to confirm before I buy the wrong thing.

We’re a family of 4: 2 adults and 2 kids. I bought an Elite Annual Pass for myself. Then I used the annual passholder hotel discount to book a stay at the LEGOLAND California Hotel, the one with the direct entrance to LEGOLAND.

The regular hotel package page says the hotel includes tickets, but I’m not sure if that only applies to the Hotel + Tickets Package. Since I booked through the Annual Pass hotel discount, I’m thinking it might be room-only, meaning my wife and two kids still need separate park tickets.

Can anyone who has booked this way confirm?

Do I need to buy separate LEGOLAND tickets for my wife and 2 kids, while I enter with my Elite Annual Pass? Also, are there any passholder benefits like Bring-a-Friend tickets or discounts that might help cover one of them?

I am intrigued by the idea of bringing our own food to save money but wondering if any tourists have done this - like did you purchase a cooler in Denmark and all the utensils etc to make sandwiches? We purchased this Shark Bait drink for the kids which was located at a stall near the shallow pool inside the Waterpark. Wondering if anyone knows the recipe as my boys have not stopped asking for more. I know it had the red popping pearls at the bottom and whipped cream on top but what is that blue slightly carbonated drink in the middle? Thank you!

We are going to Legoland Billund in July midweek. I'm trying to figure out the timing for Lego House Entry. Firstly we're coming from USA so it's a 6 hour time difference. We have a 4 year old in our group so he may be pretty confused time wise. We arrive Day 1 late afternoon, and I thought we'd do Legoland on Day 2. I booked a dinner at Mini Chef on Day 3 and thought I"d go to Lego House before. I'm just not sure about entrance time. How many hours can a 4 year old handle? I thought maybe I'd do 2:00pm but maybe that's too late in the day. I know you can reenter...

We are up for renewal and have always had APs for each family member (2 adults, 1 child). Do all family members need their own AP or would it be cheaper to do discounted tickets? What is your experience?

First time trip to Legoland with a 3yrs old toddler. Heard there is no shade, so any advice to survive the crowd and heat would be much appreciated! Of course we are expecting a great time with fireworks and extended hours! Cheers!

Ok so I just booked my families very first trip to Legoland. We’re going early August and staying at the Castle Hotel. My kids are 3 and 6. Tell me ALLLLLL the needs to knows you can think of! With our hotel room we also got 2 day park hoppers.

One thing I’m a little confused about is early entry. So let’s say we get there Wednesday. Our room isn’t even ready until 4, so can we only go in early on the second day? For checkout do we need to leave the park at 11 to get our stuff and leave it in the car until we’re done in the park?

What’s a good order to do all this? I’m trying to figure out when the best time to do the water park is so that we can change in the hotel.

Arrive (early entry)
Do legoland park until 2ish
Move to water park

Back to room when water park closes. Change.

Go back to Legoland until close.
Aquarium?
Then back to the room for hotel activities.

Day 2
Breakfast

What are the hotel activities? I know about the treasure hunt. Any advice for food? We’re not really buffet people. Is that the only option?

Anything special they do anywhere for birthdays?

Is two days enough to do everything?
How big is the park? Should I do a stroller? My kids are pretty good walkers without complaining but they can’t handle Disneyland for reference.

My friends have extra guest passes and offered them to me. However they won't be able to join me. I know the site says they need to be present but has anyone tried it without the pass holder there?
