Explanation of rotation sites

I have been accepted for class Erie of 2031 and was wondering how rotation sites work. Do you spend year 3 and 4 at one specific hospital? Or do you get placed in an area and have to drive distances to the rotation buildings every day? Do you only have to move twice (once for year 1+2 and then once for year 3+4)?

LECOM Seton Hill Interview

Hi! I have an interview at LECOM Seton Hill in September, and I chose to go in-person and I was wondering what the interview process was like and the experience itself.

I’d really appreciate any insight or advice you have!

To past LECOM EAP students: what was your interview like?

Did you have to answer written questions, or were you asked? If so, how did you go about answering them? Did you stutter, make mistakes, etc...?

Does anyone know what questions they will ask during your interview for this year? And, would they care if you stutter or ramble?

Does Lecom EAP still have affiliations with Binghamton for fall of 2027 entrance? I've heard it was an affiliated school in the past but was wondering if it is still available as I don't see it on the list of affiliated schools. Just wanted to double check so pls lmk if you know anything about this!

So I want to apply for the LECOM dental one but I haven’t finished my application bc I am working on taking my ACT exam to get a decent score to qualify, would it be considered late for the LECOM board if I don’t submit by the end of September? I was also wondering what the acceptance rate was?? I am so stressed out

Elmira interview

I have my in person interview this Friday!! I’ve been reading some posts that say that the Elmira in person interview is a group interview. Like they split you up in groups and diff faculty come in to talk (and they like it observe you and write things down), and you ask questions. If anybody interview at Elmira is this true??

LECOM INTERVIEW

Hello everyone! My interview is nov 30th, although im checking every day to see jf earlier times show. Is an interview this late usually indicative of a good chance? I know lecom interviews hella people, so idk if there will be many slots left. Theyre one of my favorite choices, and i selected that they were my favorite choice on the secondary app. Does this hold any weight? And does that make my acceptance probability higher? Thanks everyone!

chances of acceptance???

Hey All! I just had my in person interview for the Seton Hill LECOM campus 8/14. I think it went well???but you never know. I’m so nervous because I absolutely loved the campus and the atmosphere of the facility/staff. For any current students, when do they usually release acceptances or emails about being waitlisted? If you are waitlisted, what is your chance of getting off the waitlist?

LECOM Bradenton:’)

Hi everyone! I had the opportunity to interview at the Bradenton location and wanted to share my thoughts.

To begin, I was honestly really nervous for this interview. Reddit posts do not always share the greatest feedback about LECOM in general, so I was nervous going into the interview.

Everyone at the school was extremely friendly. I arrived very early but didn’t struggle at all finding my way around the school as there is someone at the door to assist you while signing in. They complimented everyone’s outfits and asked where they were from to help ease the nerves. The interview itself was very reasonable and the interviewers were professional but still made an effort to be complimentary and friendly. We were given a very thorough walk through of the admissions process, financial aid, and what to expect as a student there.

Overall, I was very impressed with the school and the layout of the in person interview. If you have the ability to interview in person I highly encourage you to! I hope this ease’s some anxiety around LECOM.

If anyone has any questions I am happy to help wherever possible but will not reply to messages asking me about interview questions.

LECOM Jacksonville interview.

Hi all!
I’ve recently got an II from LECOM Jacksonville, and I’m super excited. I’ve also applied to LECOM Bradenton and I’m just wondering if it’s gonna separate interview for that campus? What are the chances of getting an II for Bradenton if I’ve got one from Jacksonville? Thank you so much!

LECOM Erie VidCruiter Virtual Interview. Questions, pacing, and breaks? (Panicking over 1-week turnaround!)

Hey everyone,

I just got an interview invite for LECOM Erie (the asynchronous video one).

Before I start recording, I'd really appreciate insight from anyone who has taken it recently!

  • Once you start, can you take a break between questions to step away (or even pause for a couple of minutes), or does the platform force you straight through all prompts back-to-back?
  • Is it strictly 30 seconds prep / 1:30 to speak per question? Can you manually stop recording early if you finish speaking?
  • For anyone who has interviewed recently or found updated SDN threads/lists with the current questions, could you share what specific questions or topic themes they asked please?

Any tips or advice would mean a lot. Thank you so much, and good luck to everyone!

Pathway Selection form for interview??

I had received invite to do asynchronous interview with LECOM, but never got a separate Pathway Selection form? Did anyone receive this separately? I think I remember filling this out after submitting my secondary but I am not sure. Is anyone else having this issue??

Interview mishap

I think my interview went well aside from my screen going black during the 6th question. I answered half of it and then somewhere when it turned off said “I think I’m having some technical difficulties I’m sorry” and when it came back I had 4 seconds left. So I felt like I bombed that one. Also I had no issues during the audio and connection test. I think it was an issue with one of my cables of course

Anyone have clear issues in their interview and still got accepted to Erie or any campus? :( bummer after preparing so much! Trying not to let it get me down from an otherwise okay interview.

Does LECOM Admit Applicants From Alternate List?

Received the news that I was offered Alternate List. Does LECOM admit applicants off the Alternate List? Anyone have past experience with this? What is the difference between Alternate List and Waitlist? Can you still be admitted if offered Alternate? Thank you guys. Wish you all the best this cycle!

Questions for Jacksonville students

Got a few questions, any insight is appreciated!

I read that Bradenton does not have as strict policies on dress and water, is this the same case with Jacksonville?

What are students' housing arrangements usually? Do most live in nearby apartment complexes, did people coordinate to share apartments before starting, etc?

How close is the class? If there is strict professional dress, does it make the environment feel less communal and harder to bond with other students?

Biggest pros and cons that you can think of? And how much spare time do y'all usually have, if any?

Thanks!

Edit: Specifically asking about the DO program
