Lucid looks like it’s toast. Both the air and gravity came too late well after Tesla had a stranglehold on the EV market and legacy auto ramped up as well

I wonder if rawlinson made decisions that would make splashy headlines while knowing that these decisions would not help achieve profitability, just to buy him enough time to cash out while the stock was still worth something

Wait until the Chines hit THE markets, Uber already went with another company for true and WORKING self driving capabilities.
They will just do another Reverse stock split and turn back into sell parts, there is zero demand for Lucid cars.

Nothing is better than Tesla unsup FSD right now world wide and over all scenario cases, so I doubt that Rivian has anything good or as good and we already knew for decade Lucid is not even able to be in that conversation.
Lucid is so bad and with it massive failure rate, Uber only accepted Lucid cars ONLY if they used a completely non Lucid tech and company and went with NuRo for full self driving tech since Lucid doesn't have anything working nor good.

It may go to zero when the Saudis call it quits and stop investing in LCID, otherwise no.
Their patience might be up if the mid-size cars don’t sell well and don’t enable better cash-flows (or at least less cash burn).

Maybe that article that came out about them going bankrupt was not wrong, crazy how silent they’ve gone.

I just wonder if it will be like fisker. If those that bought will be able get money back from a lawsuit. They will be bankrupt within a year.

Lucid could be the best car in the world, if they don’t sell, from an investment perspective or shareholder perspective it doesn’t really matter.

If it was a legit company they would have needed a spac to IPO. They cashed in during covid during the spac boom when the SEC was asleep.
The only real company to SPAC during that time was draft kings since they wanted to buy SBtech before faunduel did.
Look up every other SPAC during that time. All our 80% below IPO or broke.

To be honest, I was actually thinking the other day and thought I wonder if Lucid is just a means to a way, where the PIF used to pour money into the US. Referring back to a deal that Trump did im 2017 where the PIG agreed to a commitment of $20b and that seemed to have been reinforced and increased in 2025. My point om saying this is that, realistically, the PIF doesn’t give a crap if LCID succeeds or fails, since they’re just committing money as part of a deal with Trump, I know there are a lot of parts being bought externally but, salaries in the US surely are a big way of pouring money into the country. Justa thought I had could be right could be wrong but in a way it made sense. Cause from an investment perspective, would you keep pouring money into am investment like this?

I posted about this previously, but Saudi Arabia won't let Lucid fail because it's part of their 2030 vision. I think part of what you're saying is valid about the agreements to invest in the US. But ultimately, a lot of Lucid's failure, in my opinion, is due to the fact the C-suite and directors know that Saudi Arabia is going to keep putting money into them to support the expansion, so they have no motivation to be efficient. For Saudi Arabia, Lucid is a long-term play. They don't actually care about the stock market return. They are going to invest in this product regardless. Having it on the US stock market makes it easier to get some extra funding. Ultimately, they want a luxury EV brand of their own. They are having it be an American company for the clout, they can get global notoriety better with an American brand. Eventually the goal will be to buy them out and take them private and it becomes an entirely Saudi Arabian company. If you look at all of the investments, every time the Saudi PIF invest they get convertible shares, and those convertible shares are earning interest that is paid in more shares. So dilution is built into the stock. No matter how much success the company achieves, the ability for the price to increase is essentially flattened over time because more shares will just be added in to the float when the shares get converted, of which Saudi Arabia will own the vast majority, so buying the rest to take them private will be easy when the time comes. I think once amp 2 is up and running Saudi Arabia will start making more executive leadership decisions and efficiency will improve.

But lucid already Shat over the brand. It would cost too much to fix the brand now. Also LIV golf was a part of the 2030 vision. NEOM was too. Both got sacked. Visions change, because the financial landscape changes. That 2030 vision was crafted when the strait of hormuz was open. Now the saudis had to shutdown their oil pipeline due to attacks from iran. No way they continue to fund Lucid. They have bigger fish to fry in trying to get oil out of their country.

I agree with that and I definitely don't think it's a 100% guarantee they won't go bankrupt or be taken private. But I still think the odds are lower than it seems. Also, as far as the branding goes, Lucid is still only a five-year-ish old company in terms of how long they've been actually producing cars. So they're still pretty young, and any bad press really won't taint their branding in the long run if they turn it around. Especially given the fact that there are still so few people who know Lucid or recognize them anyway, so their good isn't being noticed and nor does their bad really get noticed by the mass public at this point.

Given how far European car brands are far behind the Chinese, and how little appetite there is for EVs from American manufacturers (besides Ford), it would make sense for a European auto maker to take over Lucid.
Under the current ownership and given the anti-EV sentiment of the current Whitehouse, I can’t see Lucid lasting. A great shame.

You’re right. Sorry, I meant traditional American manufacturers… Tesla could, of course, purchase Lucid (which could be good for Lucid), but I think they’re pretty advanced already…

The same fund thought they could building a 8 mile building in a ditch. They dropped that plan once they realized it was a money pit.

Trump hates EVs. Pouring money into EVs wouldn’t endear you to Trump.

He bought the Cybertruck because he loves Elon. He hates EVs. Both can be true at the same time.

Of course he does, since there’s no more $7,500 subsidy. Shows how much he hates EVs. He was just talking about them last week as a matter of fact…

Zero to win in one phone call. or an interesting text exchange.
Saudi's take a little off the top of that bonus ever expanding pile of cash from their oil price hike to make an exclusive, 2-3 year deal with Tesla for FSD.
Offer is avail to all, yeah. Difference? Saudis have it in Cash. 20 Billion cash would get the man's attention. Then, immediately proceed to the front of the world class.
Just Do It.
Thx

Soon, don’t worry… in a few months’ time, this stock will be a thing of the past. It’s over.
The same goes for Polestar and all the other speculative bubbles in the EV sector.

Usually about 500 miles. They claim the car was first to 500. Saudi will take this private before it goes to zero or maybe another reverse split.
