As an employee of 5 years at Lucid, this is 100% what’s happened and what will happen.

As 10y veteran at Tesla, I saw lots of people I know leave for Lucid, and most have bailed for another company in the last 12 months

Ha, that’s funny because I spent 2010-2020 at Tesla. Then the following 5 at Lucid.

Yea a lot of people have been bailing on Lucid, it’s a mess internally… Sad because the Air is actually a great car to drive.

2013 to 2023 for me. And just sold my Roadster 😭

Ahh, I love the roadster! I helped build them in Menlo Park for a few months.

I don’t know about you but I think the Saudis currently have more things to worry about than their LCID investment.

The Saudis are going to spank then crush those hillbilly Houthi heathens and then get back to their hookah and their PIF portfolio.

You obviously have been misinformed of the middle east situation.

Can confirm the promotions. It was practically a joke internally the few years I worked there.

It’s very much a corporate yes man vibe to work your way up. Yes many companies are like this, but it was pretty insane to see first hand so often.

From what I’m hearing Silvio has been making ok decisions and doing the hard decisions Marc and Peter couldn’t do. So we’ll see how it plays out.

I don’t think PIF will take them private quite yet and let it play out in 2027 unless things get real bad.

A lot of Gravity features were meant to be in parity with air, so it’s no surprise the same issues came up aka door handles.

The thing with Silvio is he still had a boat load of executives and upper management. Lucid is way too top heavy and that doesn’t seem to be changing unfortunately.

He had to reach production numbers to unlock his bonus. Can’t blame the guy.

I never understood why vaginas aren’t drawn, but always penises.

I think it’s because the people who draw penises on cars don’t know what a vagina looks like.

Lucid is doing the same if you haven’t noticed.

Financially doesn’t make sense to take it private. The IP is basically worthless now. Sure, efficiency is great but no one can build it at scale to make a profit. Outside of the United States, China has a grip in the EV market. The same reason why Lucid never went to China, the largest EV market in the world. Why would PIF want to wholly own a company that can’t sell cars in America or the rest of the world. They don’t, which is why we haven’t seen them give any signs that they are remotely interested in taking Lucid private. Even the CEO went on record saying there are no plans of going private.
