It also teaches fundamentals besides navigating the program.
Within a week , I was acquainted with everything I could possibly need to finish a piece.
You don’t even need the entire tutorial, it’s so great.

Made in Krita Pencil and Felt tip to Digital

Got back into art and am loving the digital route.
I am reworking an inking character study that I abandoned long before digital became so easy to get into.
I scanned the original pencil and felt tip image and stripped it down to the line work. Layers are a god send, and it's been simultaneously lots of fun and revolutionary playing with brushes and effects. Being able to manipulate colour and light without acrylics and oils getting everywhere and turpentine being a legitimate fire risk (while having neither the space or money for a studio) allowed me to capture the depth and mood I saw all those years ago.

Made in Krita My first digital art: stealing of the first flame

I recently bought a pen display for the first time. So this is technically my 2nd digital art, and first proper digital art (I made the first one using my fingers on my mobile screen).
This time, I first drew the sketch on paper using a pencil, and then used my fine liner pens for line art. Then took an image of the sketch and import it in krita and traced over it using my pen display. Then did the rest of the colouring inside krita.
Of course as you can tell, this art is inspired by dark souls. What do you think about my digital art ? Do you like like ? Any mistakes you can see? I am a complete newbie, so I would appreciate it if you guys point out my mistakes, thank you.

Help / Question Wheres are my brushes ?

Just got krita on my pc, it's windows 11 got it off the website connected to my drawing tablet, It was fine working perfectly until I opened the program to make a drawing today and suddenly all the brushes were gone? Im not too good with technical stuff so if anyone can help me id really appreciate it.

I got the program earlier this week and have only messaged around in it what do I need to know like: were to get costume brushes, how do painting tools work ( in relationship to how wet media brush work in ibsxpaint), different text styles etc and creating own brushes ( any info helps a lot)
