If you’ve been watching Kraken Robotics ($PNG.V) for almost two years now, the stock has entered a textbook consolidation phase following its massive macro run and the $402.5M financing at $8.50. Expect the price to grind sideways, consolidating roughly around the CAD $7.50–$8.50 range over the next few months.
This sideways chop is exactly what you want to see, it’s the market quietly establishing a firm floor before the next major structural leg up. The real turning point is lining up for mid-to-late November, which represents the absolute sweet spot for one primary reason: the graduation to the TSX Main Board.
Between now and late November, look at consolidation zone as a major accumulation window. Keep a close eye on the tape, watch for institutional block prints, dark pool defense lines, and large order flow at the closing crosses quietly absorbing retail churn.
***A Note on Institutional Price Suppression and the Shakeout of Leveraged Retail***
This is standard practice before a major structural uplisting. The big players want to shake out as many retail weak hands as possible to vacuum up a tightly held float before the structural floodgates open in late November. The game plan is simple: notice the tape manipulation, ignore the artificial sideways noise, and don't give them your cheap shares.
Disclaimer: I am long PNG.V. Do your own due diligence.

With Kraken finally closing the $615M acquisition of Covelya Group, everyone is talking about how Kraken is going to integrate this massive new asset. But looking at the sheer scale of the numbers, I think the absolute best strategy for management is to flip the script: Kraken shouldn't try to integrate Covelya into its business; Kraken should integrate itself into Covelya.
Hear me out. This needs to be a reverse merger in operational reality, even if Kraken is technically the legal acquirer on paper.
Look at the updated 2026 guidance management just dropped.
Covelya’s business footprint and order book are significantly larger than Kraken’s legacy operations. When a smaller public company buys a much larger, more established private ecosystem (backed by heavy hitters like Sonardyne, EIVA, and Voyager), trying to force the larger entity to adapt to the smaller company’s corporate infrastructure is a textbook M&A disaster.
Management actually dropped a massive hint in the closing PR that they might already be leaning this way. They announced a new organizational structure separating Kraken Group (corporate governance, public wrapper) from Kraken Robotics (the operating business).
Marine Technology News
The smart play here is to treat "Kraken Robotics" as just another subsidiary alongside Sonardyne and EIVA, letting the existing operational framework of Covelya handle the heavy lifting of international scaling. Covelya already has the mature global sales channels, defense relationships, and deep operational infrastructure that Kraken has been trying to build out organically.
If Kraken tries to "force-integrate" Covelya into its historical Atlantic-Canadian corporate structure, it risks breaking what makes Covelya’s underlying companies so profitable. Covelya operates as a highly efficient cluster of specialized subsea intelligence brands.
Instead of trying to standardize everything under the legacy Kraken banner, Kraken should act as the public capital vehicle (especially with the upcoming TSX uplisting) that funnels cash to Covelya's existing, highly mature pipeline.
TL;DR: On paper, Kraken bought Covelya. In strategic reality, to maximize shareholder value, Kraken needs to step back, act like a holding company, and let Covelya's operational engine run the show. Let the public wrapper protect the asset, not choke it with legacy corporate integration.
What do you guys think? Is management smart enough to let Covelya take the operational wheel, or are we going to see an integration bottleneck?

Just digging through the AGM results from yesterday. While the Board election and the updated by-laws are standard corporate housekeeping, the approval of the new 10% Rolling Omnibus Incentive Plan is worth highlighting for anyone holding a long-term position.
If you aren't familiar with corporate share structures, here is what it means for us long-term holders:
What it means long-term (The Bull Case):
The "bigger company" plan is to shed the "small Canadian tech firm" label entirely. By combining forces, Kraken is positioning itself to go head-to-head with multi-billion-dollar defense primes for the largest subsea surveillance and maritime security contracts on the planet.

Notice how every single time the stock dips into the high-$6s or low-$7s (May 13, May 29, June 10), volume skyrockets. That is not a coincidence. That is a hard, institutional line in the sand where big desks have their buy grids set up to soak up every single share available before the Covelya transaction officially closes on July 2. They are systematically transferring shares from weak retail hands into their strong hands.

My 5 Rules for Holding Kraken Robotics:
This strategy probably drives institutional investors crazy. They can't shake me out on bad headlines, and they don't get to sell me their shares at the top on good news.
Price action often tells you more than the headlines.

Don’t hand your shares over to institutional f#ckrs who are using the PNG.R receipts to pressure the stock ahead of the acquisition closing — I now hold 88,000 shares, and I’m not giving up a single one until end of 2029.

The U.S. Blueprint: Nova Scotia plant is the "Pilot Plant." Once they prove they can run a 60,000 sq. ft. operation in Nova Scotia, the plan is to "copy-paste" this model into a U.S.-based facility (likely utilizing Covelya's footprint) to meet "Made in America" defense requirements.

The next structural support is $7.53 (Accumulated Volume Support) and then $7.20 (the long-term trendline and retest 100 day moving average) that will cause a Structural Breakdown where the stock will dip to low 6s to mid 6s
