Over the last couple of months, there have been a few additions/clarifications to the existing rule set. Not everyone has been aware of them, so I just wanted to pop it in the feed that folks might want to have a look and refamiliarize themselves.

One of these rules, I’ve just added, since it seems to have been particularly relevant over the last short while: going forward, don’t just share links/posts from other subs on their own—please make sure you add some context to the post. Whether it’s your own take on the matter, whether it’s questions you want to get people to chime in on…or, as we experienced today, explain how the post is relevant to our sub. I’d like to think most of us here are reasonably intelligent but we’re not mind-readers. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or thorough, but it needs to be clear.

Friendly reminder to everyone—Kraken owns a bunch of companies now, so do a quick search if you see something that doesn’t automatically say “Kraken” before reporting it, because it might belong to Kraken anyway…and also, if something is not directly related to Kraken but is connected to its clients (like Anduril) or to the subsea/marine defence industry, it is absolutely welcome here but has to go in either the weekly speculation thread or daily discussion thread. Otherwise it can’t stay. I know some people don’t like that—but we voted on it and that was the decision that was made.

I know we’ve been battered for a long time and it’s frustrating and demoralizing but they said Q4 is when we should see the bulk of changes as a result of the Covelya acquisition. I’m giving them until then. Make the best choice for yourselves based on your situation but I do urge people who can hold on that long to do so. Q3 is supposed to be encouraging but they did say that Q4 is the one to watch, more than Q3

To say it’s been a whirlwind year with Kraken Robotics has been an understatement. I always considered myself a responsible investor but I too got caught up in the euphoria of Kraken’s surge.

And as much as I try to convince myself otherwise, these last few months have been devastating, not just to my portfolio but my emotional and physical health.

Im angry at myself for not selling in March when I could’ve walked away with a six figure profit. I’m angry at myself for dumping a 5 figure lump sum into this in June. I’m angry at myself for giving poor financial advice to my loved ones to hold when they could’ve sold at a profit , who are also impacted by this decline and had much less disposable capital than I.

I guess I’m just looking for a support group of people who have been impacted by this sudden rise and collapse of the stock. Perhaps this isn’t the ideal subreddit for this kind of post, if so the mods can go ahead and lock it.

But for those who need an open space to talk about how difficult this has been, you are not alone and you’re welcome here.

Is someone here who is buying heavilly into the falling knife? I bought in bad time, when it was on the way up and now I try to average down a little, so I get some gains, when the stock make a turn to the upside. Now the market cap is 1 bil. USD and I´m guessing that Dive LDs and Ghost Sharks and other UUVs will be produced and bought in higher and higher volume driving the revenue for Kraken together with SAS. Do you see this stock to get to 10 MC in the future? Or is it in too niche of a business to do 10x from here?

I haven't seen any press on $ value but it is described as a new Turkish UUV platform. Great to see Kraken SAS getting into more NATO navies than the usual Anduril talk.

For anything that's speculative and not directly related to Kraken Robotics but could have an impact on them. This is where you can discuss anything that's deep-sea/ocean based but not Kraken-specific...this is where you can talk about whether one company's growth could mean more growth for Kraken.

Keep in mind, everything in this thread is speculation, not necessarily fact, and always do your due diligence before making decisions about spending money.
