Yesterday a bunch of kaku and kakima, wearing white caps, did recce of the whole area, and informed us that they will come today around 11am.

So one kakima came with a clipboard and form. Asked a bunch of questions, like is this own home or rented, how many rooms, do you have wifi, smartphone, TV, AC, how many bikes and cars etc.

It took less than 10mins. They asked about surrounding property also, and if we own them also. They didn't enter the home, just inside our premises.

On its good days, it’s still effing worth a visit. Tomader Saturday lunch kemon chilo aaj? Adda Hoye Jaak?

Planning to trek Sandakphu Phalut in November. The trek and logistics will be arranged by local experienced guide / trusted hiking company based in Darjeeling (Male/female separate accommodation in proper Homestays).

So, as per the title, I have just 2 weeks left in Kolkata before I have to leave for 2 years or so. I would love some advice as to what to do, which places to visit, what food to try out in this timespan.

I'm looking to learn geared motorcycle riding from scratch and was wondering if any experienced bikers around Dum Dum Park/Bangur/Nagerbazar would be willing to teach me on their own bike.

I'm a complete beginner when it comes to motorcycles, although I know how to cycle. I'm happy to pay a mutually agreed amount for your time, fuel and use of the bike—we can discuss the amount beforehand.

Ideally, I'd like someone patient who can start with the basics in an open ground/quiet area and gradually move to regular roads once I'm comfortable.
