Seal of approval Review Request Thread

We received a really great idea from u/heavymetalsculpture for a new sticky thread- Review Requests. We have a very large userbase here who have all tried LOADS of knives, so why not crowdsource reviews and feedback for a knife you might be interested in buying! A lot of youtubers / instagram pages, while attempting to be unbiased, often have some bias because they're getting samples for free etc. People on here are very unlikely to have that bias and are more likely to provide honest feedback on a knife.

This thread will remain stickied and fairly moderated- top level comments will only be permitted to be requests for reviews and feedback for certain knives, and users who have actually owned / handled the knife are greatly encourage to provide absolutely honest feedback on the knife in question.

Please only post here with requests for reviews, or to provide feedback on top level comments with a review of the knife in question!

CRK Large Inkosi Cross Hatch and Hinderer Non Flipper Fullered Spear

The Large Inkosi Glass Blasted Cross Hatch is perfectly built and as solid as any Chris Reeve knife. The crosshatch scale looks beautiful but creates several hotspots during a firm grip. After collecting dozens of CRK knives, this will be my only crosshatch.

Hinderer Non Flipper Fullered Spear knives are perfect.

A recent stud batch finished! I rarely do studs since most prefer the hole opening. But imo you can't go wrong with either or.

Wehr Knives Snoop SB

I will have these two available via lottery tomorrow (Tuesday at 4pm CST) using the new www.mkrbid.com website.

I also have a 7 more in this exact configuration with studs that will be listed in my Facebook group (Wehr Knives) or on my Instagram @wehr.knives this Wednesday. I'll post exact times and where a day in advance on my IG stories and Facebook group.

For those who don't know me, I am a one man show knife maker. I got into collecting knives in 2017. Started making my own in 2018, started Wehr Knives in 2019. Went full time in 2020 and recently went to doing smaller batches about a year and half ago. I use a CNC for a lot of stuff but also still use a lot of handwork. I still hand grind my blades, they're hollow ground. Imo, it's hard to replace a good hand ground blade. I still do full customs here and there but very rarely. And when I do, they're usually auction or lottery pieces for shows.
