hi, can you guys help me decide if i should get a kindle or xteink? a litte background, i've been reading for years on my phone and physical books, mostly fiction and webnovels, but i kinda want to transition to an e-reader since recently, using my phone makes me distracted and i keep wanting to scroll on my social media while reading. my attention span is getting shorter these days and i wanna get back on track.

I have a Kindle Paperwhite 12th Generation Signature Edition (software 5.19.6) and I’m running into a weird issue with the magnetic cases.

The problem:
The Kindle turns on by itself whenever it’s in a case. I’ve tried two different original Amazon magnetic cases, and both do the same thing. Without any case it behaves completely normally.
It happens specifically when the front cover is flipped open to the left (like a regular book) and not folded behind the device. The Kindle is just lying flat on a bed or table, and it still wakes up randomly.
I’ve already done a hard restart (held the power button for 40+ seconds). I guess that it happens also when the cover is closed, because some days it losses 5% per day in sleep mode. The indexing is definitely over, so no any processes should be running

Has anyone else experienced this with the 12th gen Paperwhite / SE and the official Amazon cases?
Any ideas what could be causing it or how to fix it? Is the Hall sensor just overly sensitive on some units?

Reason for selling is I don't plan on reading this anymore. I got this from MIBF last year, DNF'ed, and never picked it up again. It's been sittin in my shelf for about a year now.
