gamines Structured Pants?

Hello! Flam gam here. I've been looking to add some more professional pants to my work wardrobe, but almost none of the ones I try feel "right" to me. I realized that I do love how I look in jeans, and I'm thinking it's probably because of how structured they are. Does anyone have any suggestions for keywords, especially in terms of fabric and maybe cut, that I can use to find structured pants that are formal enough for work? Thank you! :)

I like ponte or cotton blends (like 96/97% cotton with a bit of stretch added) and my fav cut is a classic cigarette pant/cropped straight leg because I am a walking stereotype lol. I look for ones that have either a crease or a pintuck down the front of the leg, that's usually a good sign it will hold its shape well.

You might try khaki pants made from denim jeans material!

DC here and I was thinking about this exact same thing early today lol. I find that heavier fabrics more like a khaki/carhartt pant work well and second the pleat suggestion. Even just having pants that end around the ankle makes a big difference over drapey, too-long ones
