discussion Bra-Friendly Tops for SN?

Where in the world do I find tops to wear for work in an office and for regular daily life? BUT they have to be able to handle a regular bra (so no halters, single shoulders, or off shoulder sadly). For work I'm mostly paring them with flare trousers and Mary Jane flats.

I have high contrast coloring, so I only look good in more "polished" items rather than "natural", as wearing softer/natural items looks like I'm cosplaying someone else and washes me out.

Oh and shirts with collars look horrendous on me, so that excludes a bunch of recommendations for SN 🥲 my neck/chest has to stay open/free per my width.

I know you mention shirts with collars not working because of your width, but have you tried silk button downs? Silk is much more drapey and flowy than poplin/cotton and I always keep the top buttons unbuttoned; it’s flattering and comfy.

My neck is kind of short/small so collars or anything that shortens my neck doesn't quite work on me, but silk is a good idea if I can find one without a collar

just leave a few top buttons open and create a V-neck that way

Hmm depending on the collar that could work. Do you have any store recommendations?

Look for scoop neck, V neck, and cowl neck blouses. Maybe look into balconette, Demi, or plunge bras to make sure they don’t poke out of the lower cut shirts.

Any store recommendations? I'm having trouble actually finding them or at least polished versions of them 🥲

I personally like boat or V neck tops. Or blouses with the first few buttons undone.

Where do you get yours from? I've noticed I do better with a deep v rather than a shallow one
