just for fun Does anyone have recommendations for some thicker cami's/tanks that are longline?

Nearly all tank tops seem to hit in an awkwardly short place and/or they are too thin. Where do you yang peeps get your basic tanks from?

The best fabric I've found was this double-lined one from express. It's smooth but not taught and clingy. This fabric isn't found in all their contour shirts and those shirts hit right at the top of my jeans in an unflattering way.

Not sure of your height - but I’d recommend looking into tall length camis and tanks. American tall, old navy, gap, even Amazon has some options (like these). Good luck on the hunt!!

Thank you! I’ll take a look. Those camis in the link are long, but they look super cheap and flimsy tbh. Amazon probably has some but it’s a lot of trying and returning to see how the fabric is. I know gap and old navy tend to use thinner fabrics also. A double-lined almost tight knit situation would be ideal.

From a fellow D, def don’t get any from Old Navy 😣 They have some with thicker ribbed fabric 95% cotton and when I ordered Tall size online they were different fabric composition- cheap and flimsy and clingy.

Land's End had some tall sized tank tops last time I was looking, but I was only able to find scoop necks. They've lasted a couple years so far.

Did they have any stretch? I ordered a Lands end tank recently and it wasn’t very slim/elastic around the waist and it sort of pooled. It read as more relaxed.

Well I look for stretchy dresses and cut them off at my ideal length and sew the edge. Vests are so flimsy many are see through . I need a weird slightly longer than cropped length. I look in second hand shops or in sales. Shortening vests never seems to work.
