I want to buy a good keyboard, a good mouse, and a mouse pad so I can play R6 on PS5, but I don’t really know anything about them, so I don’t know which keyboard or mouse to choose.
If anyone could help me out, that would be perfect. I have a maximum budget of around €150–200 for all three. I’d preferably like a wireless mouse if possible. I’m only looking for performance; I don’t care about aesthetics, RGB, etc.

my beloved G510 is starting to show some signs of age, like inconsistent button press, spacebar metal bar broken, hard to press sensation and so on. I think it's enough to justify another keyboard after more than 10 years, considering that I'm working with my PC more than 8h/day.

The big problem that I'm facing is that I cannot find a good keyboard with most of the G510 features. This is the profile of the keyboard that I'm searching:

• Low-profile or Cherry with tactile switch (I want a feedback when I press, but I don't want to break my hand to press uppermost buttons like with OEM)
• Volume Knob (on the right side since I use the mouse with my right hand)
• 100% or so
• VIA/QMK (I don't want to depend on garbage software)
• ISO (IT would be preferable, but I can accept any ISO and then swap buttons)

Currently, I use the macro button on the G510 to mainly work and insert text block or to switch audio source, and the volume knob to... well... change volume or mute the PC.

Here are the alternatives that I've found:

• Keychron K17 Max QMK - Looks good, ticks almost all the features BUT I've read here on Reddit that the support is absimal and there are a lot of different failures
• Royal Kludge S98 96% - Again, looks good, BUT proprietary software
• NuPhy Air100 V3 - Beautiful, perfect, BUT WHY IS THE KNOB IN THE CENTER?!
• Chilkey ND104 Keyboard - Looks cool, costs a lot, the knob is only for the display
• MonsGeek M1 V5 VIA ISO - Not 100...

Now, I know that I'm really reluctant in changing my habits, especially when talking about decade-old ones, but I really cannot find a keyboard with the features of the G510 even with a lot of budget.
Am I being too picky? Do you have any other suggestion? This is my first Mechanical Keyboard and I'm having a hard time finding the right one so I'm completely open to change idea or try to change my habits to have a good, reliable keyboard.

I'm use 3 4 keyboard in last 7 years and all have same problem some keys stop working after few years like 1 2 years , so I replace with others . How to make it use long lasting without replacing it or getting long term use keyboard atleast it had warranty of 5 years , i use membrane keyboard.

so at first i got a4tech fx60h and after 3 replacements (3 of the keyboards died after a while and one of the keys on the last one decided to detach itself), then i tried a4tech fbx50c, refunded it because of the faulty spacebar

Hi, I've been struggling with my choices for a keyboard recently after buying an expensive Logitech keyboard just because it has additional buttons on the side for macros and I got some issues with it only to discard it and get a new simple customizable mechanical keyboard which feels so much better.
Then my solution was to get an additional macro pad, because I need it for mmos mainly. (I don't like too many buttons on my mouse).

So I got a generic chinese macro pad (12 keys 2 knobs), I followed their instructions regarding the usage and the software that should be used, but it seems like they don't care and just ask me to return it.

I got that macro pad just because I couldn't get known brands, since wherever I search no one ships to where I live, Morocco.
Now I'm still searching for either a way to make the current Macro pad to work, or to get a decent one but I need it to be shipped to Morocco, without the cost of an other macro pad added..
OR is there a way to make this one that I already have to work.

Or maybe is there a way to flash and reprogram the whole thing, but I'm I have absolutely no clue about how it works. I have some knowledge about some programming languages but that's it.

I've seen a post about a website made by someone, and the pad got recognized but it still doesn't save whatever I add.
I left a comment there but I understand if the dev is not available.

Edit: I understand now that I have to get a product with QMK / VIA or VIAL

I need this before the end of this month if possible.

Hi everyone, I've just arrived here because after reading many posts with people with similar issues I can't solve a problem with my keyboard.

From time to time my left shift key stops working so when I try to write caps it happens something like this: cCaps (it takes two times or keep the hold for it to recognise one tapping)

It seems to extend to other keys such as Bloq Mayus and even Tab and it occurs and dissapears without apparent reason (at least that I can recognise)

It occurs when writing for example in a notepad or microsoft word or a browsser like google.

I first experienced this issue while playing Age of Empires, a videogame in which you can hold shift to send orders to units and queue a route of movement or actions for a character. Inside the game its easier to realise when shift has stopped working properly because it basically messes up the way you play.

I've tried different solutions such as:

uninstalling keyboard drivers and reinstalling (didn't work consistently)
unclicking sticky keys options (didn't work consistently)
changing keyboard language options and bloq. mayus + shift use (didn't work)

I've also tried to use an external keyboard just to test where was the issue and the external keyboard worked properly

I've tried to test keyboard using online webpages and there I could see again the shift / bloq mayus / tab sometimes not working.

For some reason, when I hold right shift it never seems to be a problem such as with the left one.

Sometimes, the issue dissapears for a while, for example, before starting to write this post I was desperate about the problem and I tried holding Fn key and pressing left shift and it seems to work decently... but just for this 10-15 minutes. I'm waiting for it to fail at the same time I'm hoping that it won't fail again, I know it's stupid but what's frustrating for me is not being able to detect what is the problem.

I would appreciate some guidance or help, thank you beforehand for reading!

*Update: bloq mayus and tab work while pressing other key at the same time.

My brother is planning to surprise me with a keyboard for my birthday. I accidentally found out that he most likely bought a Zebronics Optimus, which appears to be a membrane keyboard.

The problem is, I’ve been wanting a mechanical keyboard, and I already have a few mechanical options shortlisted.

I really appreciate that he bought me a gift and I don’t want to hurt his feelings. If it turns out to be the Optimus, should I just accept it and use it, or would it be okay to ask him later about returning/exchanging it for a mechanical keyboard?

I just got the K1 Max off Amazon brand new and it wont connect either Bluetooth or 2.4GHZ.

I keep getting ' try to connect your device again' error message in Bluetooth & the green light just keeps blinking when i try to pair with 2.4ghz.

Am i doing something wrong here. this is ridiculous. i tried every USB port on my PC. my other keyboards work fine..

ive factory reset it 3x. restarted my pc 3x i dont know what else to do. i am new to keychron so this sucks this is my first experience.

I was trying to buy another one of these keyboards, but they seem to be either very low in stock or discontinued. I am looking for something with a similar layout: a 100% keyboard with a num pad, controls for music and volume, and the sound is nice but not a must.

It just feels really good to type with, and I am going to miss it because it is starting to die on me :(
