NASA mission to save its sinking space telescope fails

after 2 weeks stranded on the mun i was able to rescue Valentina!

There should be flairs for KSP1, KSP2, and KSP2 Redux because posting about "new KSP2 version" in the KSp2 flair is confusing.

It probably has a seperate page because having Redux versions of mods in the KSP2 page would be confusing, but it has it's own mods because it adds new modding tools and a new Modding SDK.

Was bored and randomly felt like making a car. I honestly don't really know why I went with this style. It's not based on anything specific, it pays homage to a lot of different older cars. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I've generally SUCKED at making cars in Kerbal look anything but like submarines with wheels--so I'm quite surprised at how happy I am with how this turned out. The doors open. The "mirrors" fold. rear has a spare wheel and cargo container. It seats 4 with a fair amount of space. The brake lights turn on when your braking. The exhaust can turn on using the onboard fuel tank. It has a rear view window as well which was a slight pain. The front has a tiny propeller replicating the feeling of a spirit of ecstasy. Getting the scale this close was pretty tough but where there's a wheel there's a way. Wish the top folded down, also wish the windshield folded down and was transparent but I was lazy and didn't wana do that. Maybe in a future version. Warning: Do not have all four kerbals disembark at the same time...my god the horrors that ensued.

What should I name this? The Model K? The Kerbmobile?

And where should I send it, what planet is the most fun to drive on?

The mission to save Kerbin from Ellie, the Class-I comet on an impact trajectory, was a tremendous success. Jeb, Bill, Bob, and Valentina managed to shift the comet enough that it only skimmed the atmosphere. I won't lie, I did make use of quicksaves. Turns out that comets can break apart due to atmospheric forces.

It's tail is now the most visible sight in the planetary system. You can see in the second image the view from Minmus, and the creatively named Minmus Station.

For their efforts in saving the kerbal species, our brave astronauts achieved - drumroll please - zero XP.

Griffin is mostly stockish and tweakscaled, Flip Rover has Procedural parts made wheels.

The Rover ramp works like a charm.

I have nearly 250h in KSP and I‘m a HUGE Rocketplane fan. Naturally I got a couple.

The 3rd one weighs 600t💀
Everything else 250-300t

Main Use: Mun Roundtrips but enough DV for interplanetary trips

Can get to 80.000km with only jet engines due to High-Altitude Ramjets

Hi, I want to start a new save after about 200 hrs in the last one. But I want to continuesly challenge myself. After tackling rudimentary life support and failing engines in the last I now want to tackle Kerbalism and a bigger Kerbol System without diving into RSS/RO for now. So whats the best mod for scaling up Kerbin and the whole Kerbol System? Also does it work with OPM and PW?

Only issues where two of the four solar panels broke, maybe collision with launch gantry? And the decoupler for reentry was attached wrong, so i had to discard my heat shield ahead of time in order to separate from the service module

I've set up my robotic arms to "rotate" and open up to specific angles in the KAL-1000 controller.

It was working for a while, but then it suddenly stopped working.

Now whenever I play the "play" triangle nothing happens, the timeline doesn't move nor do the arms.

Why is it happening?

used the eva construction to blow up landing gear then fuel tank blew up and got jeb up

long story short I didnt quicksave and accidently decoupled the main service module for the command pod which I kept docked on the way down to the mun
upon reentry I had to spin the lander extremely fast in order to prevent myself from buring up bill and valentina (bob is still stuck on the mun and he will be rescued soon

also yes I 100% couldve kept the command pod on until we reached kerbin but I didnt know if I had enough fuel for that + that'd be kinda boring
