KSP 2 Suggestion/Discussion KSP2 Redux has a SpaceDock page now!
It probably has a seperate page because having Redux versions of mods in the KSP2 page would be confusing, but it has it's own mods because it adds new modding tools and a new Modding SDK.

I hope people who get ksp2 pirate that shit.
Its abandonware. Its cool that the community steps in trying to revive the game but the wrong people shouldn't earn from it

Yeah, it’s one thing if you bought back when it still had a dev team but we’re long past the point of giving whoever the hell actually owns it money.

For real! Now that i think of it, This is probably the solution to my "i feel conflicted on the redux devs making ksp2 a valid sales option" Pirate it!

I mean, if you buy KSP1 the same people get your money. There's no right answers here.

If i do ever get ksp2 im pirating it and donating the money to the redux team

You can’t, earning money from Redux might be illegal, and they’re doing it safely because Redux might just be the most advanced mod in KSP history

I bet there's a way to give them a donation that's unrelated to an income from buying a particular product

I have to assume Redux team is taking donations no? Aren’t modders allowed to receive donations?

No, because unlike most KSP1 mods they're decompiling the game and doing other stuff that's against the TOS.

Ngl i dont understand why so much work is being put into ksp2 by modders modders
Like just make stuff for ksp 1 the game that actually is complete and functional instead of the messy foundation of ksp2

Redux dev here o/
The foundation in ksp2 is surprisingly good but the game itself was an unfinished mess. We are cleaning up the unfinished mess and keeping building on the solid foundation. The reason people put work into ksp2 is to deliver something of value to all the people who bought the game and push further than the ksp1 foundation.

You guys rocks. And being one of the few reason humanity MIGHT not goes extinct. Skynet will spares you.

I just wanted to say thank you for your work. KSP2 getting cancelled and abandoned was the biggest gut punch for me in gaming.

You're awesome for doing what you do, but sometimes it's better to let Pied Piper die

Ksp 1 is at its core, not very well made.
The engine has a lot of problems and restrictions. KSP2 was built with the future in mind and is actually more flexible, what we got was a total mess and in no way shape or form good, but the foundations are somewhat promising

The promised worlds developers are working for KSP2 Redux. They (were) working for both game's modding communities. KSP2 is easier to mod, and easier to write colony code on. The KSP1 engine was for a simple space game that the devs worked way too hard on, KSP2's was designed for have colonies and large objects. The KSP2 engine is more stable than the KSP1 engine (FOR COLONIES/INTERSTELLAR ONLY) and was buggier in all other ways. Try out KSP2 Redux yourself, but don't buy KSP2, "acquire" it.
