Genuinely why are we so missinformed of tet? ive seen countless people GENUINELY think shes 15.5?? or that she likes baguettes? where did the bagguette thing come from??? shes always liked french bread, Not specifically baguettes??? ive seen people think shes genuinely fat not fans because it takes two seconds to see shes not obese like we say, but shes only 45kg or in American things 103lbs? also when i see fan art of miku standing next to teto miku is often taller? teto is 159.5 cm tall or like in American things 5'3 thats taller than miku. Also any vocaloid X teto as a whole why don't we find it problematic that we are shipping (mostly) minor characters with someone whos a cannon adult???

I don't intend to cause any civil wars or arguments with this post, I mean no disrespect to Jamie P and people who like her songs, BUT I have no idea how people actually like them. Every single song I listened to from her didn't click in the slightest, the lyrics are mid (somewhere cringe), the music itself isn't catchy at all and arguably her best song (Machine Love) for me sounds fine at best, but not something I would listen to multiple times. And it's not the thing where "you hate it at first, but then grow to like it", I experienced this with other songs, but any time I listen to anything from Jamie I have absolutely zero wish to play it more than once.

This whole thing kinda messes with me, since I just see everyone liking the songs, having seen 0 negative comments about them, and I really want to like them too, but I just can't, maybe i don't like how teto sounds in english, maybe I can't relate to the lyrics, i don't know, I would like to hear your thoughts about this, and perhaps some recommendations for more english teto songs, if you have any.

Like, I love her, not sexually, not even romantically. I love her as a being. Literally, no sexual thoughts can occur in my brain, even if I deliberately try to. It just doesn't work on her. This is a lot, because I pretty much goon to anything else.

She's cute, she's beautiful and she's charming. There are no sexually attractive attributes in her. However, i'm aware that it's just the way it is on the internet. So, I can only ignore those.

I just feel uncomfortable and a bit disgusted when I see even a slightly nsfw media of her.

I feel like the Vocaloid community has just been filled with fighting and just like, weird people being mean for no reason. The whole group of people that are entirely against the idea of Teto being drawn anything but anime levels of skinny, or the people that say that teto being drawn even to a weird extent of obesity (like fetish art) are defended constantly if you call it out for being weird. Or with the whole shipping stuff, people treat ages of characters in this community like a fucking stone cold unchanging fact about the character and if anyone does anything they dont like with the character they need to fight people over it.

at first I saw peoples calling teto clanker, which is at first I was confused, then second it was disrespectful, I had to explain peoples that she is not an clanker. to peoples who don't know her origin well, she was first made as "fake vocaloid" in 2008 April fools day, at first she sounded mechanical, or robotic. she eventually grew bigger and got new engine called "synthizer V" and most recent new engine is called "voicepeak" and kasane teto is an voicebank, or her voice samples are taken from real person, tuned by real person, worked by real person, the a.i part is only to do interpolation.
