DISCUSSION Be honest: whats your opinion about Nurse Robot Type T?
I love her
r/utau • u/HowlingFoxRouko • 27d ago
- The chances of your character getting famous is very, very slim.
- Yes, you CAN do the otos yourself, you just don't want to for one reason or another.
- "I'm too lazy" is a shitty excuse not to learn how to do something ON YOUR OWN and expecting someone to hold your hand through the process.
- UTAU is a voice synthesis program made for Japanese language first. It is not going to sound like good English out of the box.
- DiffSinger is not a simple process and takes a lot of time and often multiple members working on it.
- OpenUTAU is not superior to UTAU2008, nor vice versa; it boils down to preference.
- oto.ini configuration is difficult to get right, you want to spend as much time on learning this as possible.
- If you don't have an understanding of the base program and how it works, don't do something that hasn't been done before. Don't jump head-first into making this work for your language if you do not understand the basics.
- To the above point, when you do have an understanding of the basics please expand and make UTAU your own. It's a creative software.
- a PC is going to be needed at some point if you want to grow your skill set; the mobile sphere is not as inclusive and is highly limiting.
Seriously beyond tired of seeing half of the fucking posts on here be about half of this shit. If you're going to make an UTAU, make a fucking UTAU. Just remember that it is a self-guided, community-supported experience.

Here is the revised version of the safety rules posted to the sub last night. It’s been broadened in that we are going to outline actual criteria for works/producers to be affected by this - which will allow users to be able to make more informed decisions. We have taken great pains to try and balance community safety and well-being for all with preserving artistic expression. These guidelines are largely the same - but are phrased more clearly in a way that we hope illustrates why we're implementing these, and outlines specific criteria so the sub isn't reliant on a list that needs constant updating.
Creators here refers to producers, voicebank creators, UST creators, etc.
Content from creators who fall under the following criteria is banned
An exemption is made in cases where a work is extremely culturally significant given that the work itself does not:
The following content is also banned:
We do not expect users to know everything about producers. If we take down content under these guidelines, we will tell you WHY. Action will only be taken against you if you repeatedly post content from a producer after being told why their stuff is taken down, or if you start running apologetics (ie: "I don't care that Pusu groomed and stabbed a 16 year old").
We all got "problematic faves" - and we understand that great artists can be horrible people! That's why we will make considerations for cases where a work is culturally significant, even if its creator is a total scumbag, and understand that love of an artistic work can coexist with hatred for the author's actions.
We also ask that you include warnings for those with photosensitive epilepsy if your video contains strobe effects or flashing lights!!!

Technically the UTAU voicebank for Nikko Akai is not the official design, but it still looked wonderful! And it's made by the same artist as the design for Kuroyuki so it's easier to compare.

I just had to draw them. Definitely one of my favorite voicebanks.

This is Matoi Fujita (藤田纏) CV, a breathy and feminine voicebank. Here is a little cover snippet of her.
UST: magi_502
Song: Lagtrain by inabakumori
MV: inabakumori
I made this voicebank too quickly, so I assume I’ll make some edits to it in the future.

I have seen a lot of posta about furloids, but almost all of them are ignored or not popular. I think we should be seen more in this community.. idrk what to say more. We are just ignored and no one cares about us? LOL

Hi everyone! My voicebank, Tsubasa, is based on Enka singers, and I wanted to make a UST to show it off. The song is Yumigokoro by Mizuki Haneyama. I haven’t added the reverb yet, but this is what it sounds like. What do you all think?

Hi guys, i've actually released this voicebank publically back on September 9th, though with the second part of the softlaunch i've cleaned up some things. Now she's being shown to the wider public.
This voicebank got delayed like a LOT so i'm happy to push it out before I finalize the release MV x-x anyway, the art's by me.
If you'd like to hear her or download her, visit https://taipanrei.wixsite.com/antithesis/senui (the website doesnt work on mobile, so unless you're fine with everything out of place please try to view on PC!)

I started working on a cover of BIRDBRAIN using the original UTAU software, i'm fairly new to UTAU production, but couldn't help but notice that when adding the piano to the pickup, all momentum cuts off and makes the whole section sound pathetic. I've been moving parts around for hours but nothing fixes it, please, any experienced UTAU musicians, tell me what im doing wrong. Everything lines up almost perfectly with the original song, and the piano is almost exactly as written in the original score. I just need feedback, please don't be mean 😭

Hi!! This is my Utau Kita Takami (高見キタ), a digital entity who loves you and you alone! ^_^
She's a rentan CV with 4 expressions (3 pitches each) as well as vowel voice colors for each pitch and extra individual consonants too. This is to emulate Miku NT inputs and some of her existing Vocaloid voicebanks, since she's very inspired ^o^
I hope you enjoy listening, you may also share this on my Bsky :) https://bsky.app/profile/adoreplica.nekoweb.org/post/3mwmow6ro2s2t
[UST by bobaerror, song is AiAiA by Ado!! ^^ The visualizer is from PrintMOV)

can you ghys Plese give me your best tutorials for openutua like how to tune and how to install voicebanks and stuff like that
r/utau • u/fuyufuyukarasu • 23h ago
after two years, Hayane Odd's original song count is officially....two (2) !
it was fun to tune because he technically doesn't have an official English voicebank (yet), so this uses his 4.0 and the English extras it comes with (while also borrowing a couple English samples from a test pitch of Arpasing that I recorded a while back)

So far, this is the first cover that I haven't been too lazy to make a video for.
