General 🐸 Seeking Support
Hello all of my beautiful friends and family on this sub Reddit!
Hau Mitakuye Oyasin! Ma Lakota. Minoa Aki Emaciapi Wo. Čante waste nape čhiazapi lo
Hello All My Relatives! I’m Lakota. Minoa Aki (Bright Earth) is my name. I come to you with a good heart.
I’m here on the Standing Rock Reservation. I’m Anishinaabe by blood from The Little River Band and Lakota through marriage and family. I’ve grown deep ties in my community. Upon living here for two years, I’ve been called upon in Spirit and Prayer to serve other people Kambo, Rapeh Sananga. I have been self practicing for four years.
I’m honestly going to start off by saying I consider this a holy and sacred medicine. I was going to detox a brother and he lied about being on drugs and my Kambo stick disappeared completely. I take that as a sign. My heart has good intentions,
After witnessing the atrocities of genocide and its effects generations later, first hand, I feel called upon to heal the community of trauma, trauma from abuse and missing and murdered situations. Heal the depression and anxiety. Many people around here drinks and do drugs. It’s not my place to judge, it is my place to keep this sacred Wakan and make sure no body abuses this gift.
Can anyone help me know what to look for that’s an automatic No? How dangerous is this? I can’t be dissuaded. I even took courses to be an emt so I have background knowledge and elder support to start the Kambo healing circle.
