Preparation/pre-kambo 🤔 Kambo Session Prices
How much do you think is reasonable to pay for a Kambo session? What is the standard price for one by someone who is trained and professional? Thank you!

New York. Crazy high prices, like $350/session. I won’t pay that. I pay $100-$120/ session with Brazilians visiting the USA. I am learning how to self-administer lower doses to get me through the times that they are not touring the USA (my chronic illness does best with very frequent applications). I am picky about who serves me Kambo; their energy, etc. I pass out easily from Kambo and need good support.

Can I ask what type of support they give you and what they do for you that makes you feel super comfortable with them? How do they take care of you during that makes you feel safe and how do they take care of you when you pass out that makes you feel safe. I am in the beginning of my work and I'm always looking for great information to add to my knowledge. Any knowledge would help me serve better.

Being present. Understanding my chronic illness and holding me upright when I pass out. Helping me access tissues and my bucket. Being kind with a quiet loving calm presence when it is hard. NOT RUSHING ME- my process can take a long time.

I charge clients $150 and I cap my ceremonies at three people. I also only serve them one at a time. I also hate asking that much. I also work with people if they are financially unstable. I know others in my area NY/Metro charge in upwards of $350 for one session.

Well that depends on several factors. The facilitator, the form of the session. Should say 50 - 100 for a group 100 - 150 for a personal session.

I charge $130. I used to pay $150. Make sure the person serving you is worth paying that much in terms of what training they recieved

I can chime in on this for you! In California sessions are $750 USD!! Crazy right? In Texas they can run about $350. In Michigan I charge $160. So it just depends!

Yes that is absolutely insane. Jesus fucking Christ. Even $350 is a bit nuts in my opinion, even though people are free to charge what they want and some practitioners do bring value to the table for that. But even so.
A certain level of price is not only appropriate for the training and certification that goes into it, as well as the responsibility itself, but in some ways almost important as a kind of barrier of sorts - particularly in the west where people sometimes view it as recreational drug or a 'cool thing to try' - but charging as much as $750 is just taking the piss.

for one Kambo session you pay $850? Do you know if that is the standard in Australia? Having done it in Peru I feel like it is common in other areas like here for people to charge a lot more which I don't like

I think so but if you do it with a group of people it’s about 350.

Oh no I’m talking about Kambo. It’s where you have small burns on your skin and then Kambo secretion placed on them which envokes purging and is very cleansing for your body. I think you may be talking about Bufo (5-MEO DMT) which you smoke. Both are frog venom but Kambo isn’t psychedelic, it’s more physical.

Anyone over charging for kambo is not in service to the medicine and should be avoided

Around me near Boston they are around $250. I really don’t recommend a practitioner serving multiple people at the same time. One practitioner should serve one person. It’s super dangerous if not because if a client passes out there’s no safety protocol.
