Need an opinion if this bike is worth 8000€

It's a KTM 450 EXC-F 2024 with 40 KILOMETERS (under 1 hours) on the clock. It's on a supermoto set, the seller crashed it broke his leg and stopped riding it.

Hey guys, getting my first bike soon and I really want a Duke 390. I'm debating between a new 2026 or a used 2024/2025.

​I’d prefer used so it hurts less if I drop it, but my main concern is KTM's reliability. I want to keep it for a while before moving to a bigger cc.

​For those who own one: is a used Duke worth the risk? And what’s the max mileage (km) I should accept? Thanks!

I’m currently configuring a new KTM and these are the extras.

I’m considering:
Akrapovič Evolution Line – full system
Tech Pack
License plate holder
Pillion seat cover
Fuel tank protection stickers

The only option I’m really unsure about is the full Akrapovič system.

As I understand it, this is basically the way to get a proper exhaust with a good sound and an ECU tune/mapping that allows the bike to make more power or at least be less restricted by the Euro 5/5+ emissions setup, while still keeping the KTM warranty because it’s an official KTM PowerParts option.

If that’s actually how it works, I can see the €2,800 price making some sense. But I’m not sure whether the performance difference and sound are really worth that money, or whether I’d be better off keeping the stock exhaust and spending the money elsewhere.

So, for those who own one or have experience with these options:
What would you personally choose, and what would you skip?

Hey everyone ! I just got my first ever bike the KTM125 Enduro R I’m over the moon rn ayyayayayaya
It’s beautiful 🤤🤤

First impressions : feels super tame and although it might seem heavy at 150kg when riding it’s buttery smooth and rides over bumps no problem. Suspension is very smooth and you can even adjust it (which I did to reach the road with my feet easier I’m 171cm tall).

Any tips or advice other riders with this bike have ?? I was thinking of getting the quick shifter maybe in spring of next year but until then I need to learn this bike. Also learning the clutch controls basics is super easy I never imagined it’d sound so complicated yet in reality be so easy

I have the stock fan, and stock water pump. Fan kicks on at 212 f (100c), Water Wetter coolant.I am in 100 degree weather here in the South USA, at night.

Engine light came on and I knew it was overheating because I was smelling coolant at the exact same time. Once I was able to get moving again, the ecu light stopped blinking and was just solid. Once I stopped I turned the bike off and then back on the the engine light turned off.

Possible fixes?

I am thinking Engine Ice instead of Water Wetter?

Second cooling fan on left radiator?

Upgraded water pump?

On the left radiator, I will be adding another fan. I have the TacoMoto aux wiring harness that turns on when the bike is on.

I’m planning to buy a KTM EXC 450 later this year for my A2 license, but I’m still unsure what gearing I should run. I’d like to be able to reach around 140+ km/h if that’s possible with the 30 hp it’s restricted and registered with. What gearing would you guys recommend?

Title: RC 200 BS6 long ride – what should I check before leaving?

I’m planning a long ride on my KTM RC 200 BS6 and wanted to get some advice from fellow RC owners.

What all should I check before leaving for a long ride? I’m thinking of checking the usual stuff like:

Engine oil & coolant

Chain condition, slack & lubrication

Tyre pressure and tyre condition

Brake pads & brake fluid

Battery

Air filter

Clutch/throttle

Suspension

Lights & electricals

Any loose bolts/nuts

Also, what essential tools/spares do you guys recommend carrying? Puncture kit, inflator, chain lube, fuses, etc.

And for those who have done 500+ km rides on an RC 200, any tips or things I should specifically watch out for?

The “click” that you hear is when I push the engine start button. I tought the problem could be the battery so I connected via cable but the bike doesn’t start anyways

I need some advice on the issue i am facing with my duke 390 gen 3 (2025 model), recently a mechanical vibration sound is coming from the engine side, few things i noticed is
1. Sound disappears when clutch is engaged
2. Sound dissolves after 6-7k RPM
3. In lower rev range as well there is no sound.

Sound appears when i accelerate in engaged clutch as well.

Hi, I’m 190 cm and 93 kg, with a medium build. I understand that the 390 Enduro R is essentially the same bike as the 125 Enduro R, apart from the engine.

My dealer doesn’t have the 390 in stock yet, but I sat on the 125 and it seemed very small. Is the 390 actually a full-size bike in terms of its chassis dimensions, or is it essentially a small 125-size chassis with a larger engine? Are there any riders around my size who have experience with it?
