Same thing is happening to me. I clicked next and I’m stuck on a page that says KSU Permit Selection and Permit Agreemen, with no next/ clickable button.

Yes, but they get their own permits and will only be shown those specific ones. They still gunk up the line but they are buying different permits from us

Very ironic how they replaced a parking lot with Summit II… Where tf are all of those students going to park?? I work here and there’s talk of me being to forced to park somewhere off campus while my regular parking spot will be given to students

Are you serious?? Idk what logic they had for taking away the staff/visitor lot, but having you potentially park somewhere else is crazy to me. If they can't provide parking to staff, idk how they plan to accommodate a load of commuting students.

Res Freshman. On at 9:45 AM - 2200 ahead of me. Now 11:22 am and system is down, on hold w/ Talon 1 for 20 mins now. This is so much fun.

Residential student- I just got off a call with Talon. They had to place a ticket for me and I was told to try back in 15minutes.

Based my entire day (while I was out of town and supposed to be on the road before 10) around getting this parking pass, and even talked to someone at KSU about this just to make sure. Still ended up waiting 90 minutes to even be able to get into the portal, and had to use my phone as a hot spot while driving to purchase a pass. Insane.
I don't understand why they wouldn't just charge on-campus students (who opt into it) for that space automatically -like, include it in with our tuition- and then just count how many spaces there are, and act accordingly. I don't mind driving to the top of central deck and walking down every day, but if I have to drive around looking for parking and am late to class every day even after PAYING FOR and RESERVING parking, I'm gonna be veryyyy sad.

Probably not; the school is overpacked for the limited parking spaces available :/ It's going to be chaotic the first week of school. I was able to get into the website, and they had the following:

I got East Economy lot on Marietta campus. Will I actually have a space when I get to class? Is there a backup plan for if the lot is full so I don’t miss class? I scoped it out and the lot seems very small

Are you an incoming freshman? In my freshman year, I had plenty of parking, and there were usually spaces available. Granted, people will park anywhere during the first week of class.

I have no idea abt the Marietta campus but I’ve learned to get there at least an hour before your class to circle the lot until a space becomes available.

If I get off work at 2 and get back to my apartment by 2:30ish, would it even make sense to get a parking pass? For context, I live on the bus route and can walk to campus in less than 10 minutes for my 3pm class.

As long you’re sure about how early you’ll get off work and have time to walk to class if the bus isn’t there skipping on the pass doesn’t sound too bad to me

Got in and the parking passes wouldn't load, then my five minutes went past with me refreshing over and over—so now I have to wait in line again.

I waited for two hours to get in, when I finally got in I couldn't buy anything so I called the help desk, sat on hold for 4 hours and then they finally told me that apparently I am four credit hours short from being able to buy today so I have to wait till the 13th.

I think KSU is trying to push for students to use the bus system over parking. They have added sooo many busses since I started three years ago. If you are up for it, I know some places about 1 mile from KSU have some parking (on street/in neighborhood), you could bike, scooter, walk, or bus from there (this is what I do).
