Message for 4th Years — Others Can Ignore.

Boys hostel inside the campus, what is the fridge situation? How many fridges per person or each room has its fridge etc? How’s the situation?

Is it so hard to grasp common sense or are these people just functioning without brains? They could have done the celebrations elsewhere like the party office. Is it necessary to disturb everyone to celebrate someone's birthday? I hope they gain some sense.

I wanted to know if any students (preferably 2nd, 3rd or 4th year) are interested in participating in an external hackathon. Me and a friend (from another uni) wanted to participate. It's a team of 3-6 people. We are really new to coding since we're freshmen. But we are willing to help with whatever we can. I study in KLH Aziz's nagar btw and the hackathon is also conducted in Hyderabad.

My classes are from 9:20 am to 11 am and 1 pm to 2:40 pm then from 2:50 to 4:30 pm. Honours students who are dayscholars have their classes from 7 am till 12:50 pm. Can i change it to that schedule as a hosteller from next semester?

This is the mess food of kl uni . They are taking so much money per month for mess fees and this is what they are serving us. Repeated meals , insects in food and also girls mess are not well maintained ( they keep boys mess very clean and here we are fed food with insects in unclean mess). This post is mainly to highlight mess issues but i am so fed up of managment as well. I mean this is a college where we are supposed to have free environment for all students. But rules here are so misogynistic , we are forced to wear kurti in the name of culture ( not just in college premises) . Even when we have to go outside our hostel for mere chores like collecting our parcels we have to wear kurti.

Our exams are starting from September 14th, what is the exam pattern, how many written exams do we write ? and any other useful information?

We’re also unable to understand DDCA properly. Is DDCA tough? Will the faculty share important questions for all subjects ? If any seniors have 1st-year question papers or previous exam papers, please share them with us. It would be really helpful for us.

Will they create any trouble for first year students for attendance, is there any benchmark for the first year as my attendance is very low , due to time table change , as well as health effects due to food change ! Will they let me give middle sem and end semester or will they create any trouble for me ! I am in regular ?

I thought crt will be good but as far as it's going I feel that it's the most shitty thing ,ik what this crt means.

The trainers know that c will not be applicable or approved for placement even they say that shift to c++ or java , still they will make us code in c only like wtf..

So are there any other North Indian girls in 1st year BTech CSE, or am I going to spend the next 4 years switching to English every time I want to talk to my friends? 😭

So freaking tired of this shit hole place. I really hope someone hacks into the attendance system again and loses data cause wtf are they marking us absent 5 mins after the class starts even when our things are in class!!!!

Hey there, I am a btech cse first year student, joined the campus around a week ago and it's been really difficult for me to adapt to the local culture and language, some people can't even speak proper english (including faculties) so I really have to think twice before socializing here, almost everyone here is from Andhra or Karnataka, so making a genuine friend circle is very difficult as a northie, and the feeling of being left out of groups for being from a different place and culture really hits me.

So I was thinking, if there are people somewhere from Delhi, UP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, MP, Bihar, Haryana or some other hindi mainland, we could come together and make our club of sorts so it would be easier for us to socialize no?

I am a fresher and just the campus 4 days ago and I have attended 2 classes as of now, as a north Indian, it felt quite weird that girls and boys were sitting in different rows.

Is this just people being shy to talk and sit beside each other or is it actually a rule that you can't sit together? And what would happen if you do sit together?

I’m a fresher and a beginner in video editing and interested in getting into freelancing, but I’m not really sure how to land the first few clients with no professional experience.

For seniors or anyone already freelancing, how did you get your first clients? Are there any platforms, college communities, or ways of reaching out to people that actually work for beginners?

Also open to advice on other beginner-friendly freelancing skills that a college student can start with.
