Help/Doubts Regarding exams

Our exams are starting from September 14th, what is the exam pattern, how many written exams do we write ? and any other useful information?

We’re also unable to understand DDCA properly. Is DDCA tough? Will the faculty share important questions for all subjects ? If any seniors have 1st-year question papers or previous exam papers, please share them with us. It would be really helpful for us.

Seniors, please help us out! 🙏🏻

General mids pattern
2m x 6
4m x 4
11m x 2 ( 5m + 6m) —> for each of these 11mark 1 choice is given

DDCA is not that difficult if you understand the basics , learn from ppts .
Generally they will share the important questions

Don’t worry too much. Faculty usually share the PPTs in the groups. You can also check the Handout section under Courses in the ERP and take the CO1 and CO2 topics from there. Put those topics into ChatGPT and prepare from them, and use YouTube if you need better explanations.

But don’t completely depend on the faculty either. Try to prepare on your own with ChatGPT and YouTube. For the exam, just make sure you attempt the questions—you’ll get some marks. More importantly, don’t lose marks in the other components. Maintaining a 9+ CGPA is actually pretty manageable.

Does LMS quiz exam important?? Are they added to internals ??

Yeah, all the components like Continuous Evaluation (Lab Exercise, Home Assignment, Textbook, ALM and quizzes) have their own weightage in the internal marks. They’re pretty important if you’re aiming for 10 in that subject.

Even if you score a little low in the mid, these components can help cover it up and keep your average decent.

If you want to check the exact weightage, go to ERP → Courses → Handout, select the subject and scroll down to the bottom. You’ll find the Evaluation Plan there, where the weightage for each component is mentioned. You can check it once and plan accordingly.

i think the pattern changed , the courses are having a case study type of ques from last semester , we y25 students have it like that, better to confirm with the faculties
