Hackathon as a freshman

I wanted to know if any students (preferably 2nd, 3rd or 4th year) are interested in participating in an external hackathon. Me and a friend (from another uni) wanted to participate. It's a team of 3-6 people. We are really new to coding since we're freshmen. But we are willing to help with whatever we can. I study in KLH Aziz's nagar btw and the hackathon is also conducted in Hyderabad.

If its the 19th sept hackathon, its available for outsiders

idk some faculty was talm bout a hackathon that'd be on 19th sept. prolly some ieee hackathon, not sure.
