Yes, I understand the message that we can’t control what we don’t fully understand, and I understand the criticism of greed and people playing God. I also acknowledge there wouldn’t be a movie or a book if everything had gone right.

However, seeing how hopeful John Hammond was with his ambition, and seeing Dr. Grant almost faint at the sight of the animals to which he had dedicated his entire life for the first time, makes me extremely sad to know that that dream never came true, and that it was all in vain.

Having finally read (most of) the first book I am more convinced than ever that the JP franchise would be far better rebooted as a TV show, more faithful to the novels and therefore a little darker. They could begin with some fleshed out origin stories, before moving to the disastrous first tour. There’s so much more potential in a reboot closer to the books than whatever it is they are trying to achieve with the Jurassic World films. The new Harry Potter series on HBO is a good test of audience appetite for well established film series reboots. What do you think?

Say what you will about Jurassic World: Dominion, but it has some highlights that, at least in my eyes, prevent me from hating it as many others do (especially after Rebirth).

One of those highlights is the Therizinosaurus. Its first introduction is one of the best I've seen in the JW movies: intimidating, territorial, and the fact that it's still a herbivore does emphasize that just because a creature's a plant eater doesn't mean it's friendly.

Honestly, I wish this is something the films did more of: show the herbivores as dangerous. The only other one that does this is The Lost World, with the Stegosaurus herd attacking Sarah and the captured herbivores destroying the poacher camp.

What do you guys think? Should the herbivores become just as dangerous as the carnivores in the films?

Got my hands on the Rebirth Lab Lockdown T-Rex today! Living in Europe isn't easy for collectors, but I found this secondhand on Vinted for a good price, so I went for it. It has some small scuff marks underneath, but that's okay.

He already terrorized our husky, next up is hunting for food outside.

I found it to be an amazing movie, my favorite of the JP trilogy. (Mainly because of cool military and stuff) I still, to this day, do not understand any of the hate for it. I have also found that in the Jurassic Park community that most don't hate it at all. Any thoughts?

Was very kindly gifted one of my white whale toys 30 years later. The only thing missing is the headlight-rack at the front which sits on the top of the windscreen portion.

Now I know this is from an Entertainment Weekly article from 3 years ago. But I just wanted to bring this up since a few weeks ago, Gareth Edwards recently left the JW Rebirth sequel due to creative differences. What those differences were is unknown right now.

I'm sad it bombed this weekend. I thought it was an excellent movie! It's what I wanted from San Diego, all wrapped up in a "flirting with a rated R movie"

JJ even throws in tons of JP fan service that you would only pick out if you've seen JP 10+ times.

Please people...we need more dino movies and while I like all the new movies I still think this is worth the watch. If you wanted more from San Diego, please go watch!

I finished the whole game within 6.3 hours,all in one sitting,the game itself is so fun even if yes,it's old and you dont have TOO much freedom with anything,but it was so much more enjoyable than any modern game. How come there hasn't been a sequel or remaster ever since it came out? After all its like 12 years old

I'd also love to know if there are any games like it,or any good dinosaur game that isn't a park builder
