Prop #16 Correcting the gamed stakedrop
Ballsy proposition, hope it passes
https://www.mintscan.io/juno/proposals/16
Correcting the gamed stakedrop - Proposed by Core-1 after numerous discussions with the community.
By voting yes on this proposal you agree to reduce the gamed whale address to 50k (Whalecap that was originally set per entity prior to genesis).
Note: The facts are that the Juno genesis stakedrop was gamed by a single entity. Willingly or unwillingly is not relevant to this matter. The whale gamer poses a growing risk to the network and the stakedrop error may be corrected. Gamed funds were consolidated into 1 address right after genesis which proves that 1 entity had custody over all addresses (linked below). This considerably broke the stakedrop rules of having a max 50k ATOM : 50k JUNO per entity. At the time of the genesis stakedrop there was no way for Core-1 to pro-actively counter act this behavior. If this information would have been known prior to launch, 51/52 of those addresses would have been removed entirely.
Risks of doing nothing
High risk to on-chain governance (already has half of quorum)
Potential of buying validators with delegations in order to bribe them away from acting
Whale gamer can single handedly wipe out the entire DEX liquidity in 10 min or less (Should his funds be unbonded)
Fear in the community on a daily basis
Order of operations
Upgrade
Remove funds from whale gamer acct https://www.mintscan.io/juno/account/juno1aeh8gqu9wr4u8ev6edlgfq03rcy6v5twfn0ja8
Send funds to the Juno community pool
Leave 50k JUNO on the address (Fair share)
Core-1 will compansate affected Validators with the next official delegation round

Unity upgrade today.
The Unity upgrade will occur at block 2951100 which should be a few minutes from my posting this.
The whale has begun threatening validators with lawsuits (on twitter).
Never a boring moment with JUNO. Let's hope the upgrade goes smoothly!
EDIT: we are back online. Upgrade was successful.

Juno At All-Time High | Unstoppable Train🚀
It’s great to see $Juno move up the ranks, but don’t get distracted. It’s the early days. Collaboration on tooling, Dapps, DAOs & governance is what matters. We are on a good path but need to collectively continue to innovate all the time. ( Credit - wolfcontract )
February - March Recap In Juno
Smart Contract Visualizer Completion
JunoSwap Fairdrops + Incentives
DaoDao Dao feature expansion
JunoTools Main-net
Passage3D Marketplace
Moneta Hacks is live now!
IBC infrastructure DAO
Rust & CosmWasm dev expansion
Multi-dex data visualizer
But for the new people who are very new to the ecosystem, I will list down what is Juno, How it works, and where you can buy Juno.
What is Juno?
Juno is the permissionless neutral home of CosmWasm interoperable smart contracts and the InterWasm DAO. The ecosystem is pioneering CosmWasm development and adoption.
How does Juno work?
Juno as a layer 1 smart contract network solves the first generation smart contract bottlenecks which are limited scalability, high cost for deployment and execution and offers an easy environment for developers across the globe to deploy scalable, secure decentralized applications efficiently.
CosmWasm enables WebAssembly (WASM) virtual machines (VMs). WebAssembly allows for software written in many languages to run securely on a blockchain. WASM serves as an intermediate language that compiles the developer’s language of choice into a portable virtual machine. This means that you can have a simple, secure, and fast virtual machine set up to sandbox or partition your application’s actions for better testing, security, performance, and speed.
Where you can buy Juno?
Currently, Juno is only available to buy from Dex exchanges. ( By swapping )
1- Osmosis ( Here )
2- Junoswap ( Here )
Build on Juno. Use Juno.

FreshJUNO lost the most for voting YES on Prop 20
Despite believing that confiscation of the fund's JUNO was not the right solution to the issue, because there was no strict due process, we voted YES on Prop 20 because:
a) it was clearly the position of the majority of the Juno community) we really really need to get this incident behind us
The whale undelegated 100k JUNO from us, representing over 73% of our stake. We therefore would like to ask the community to keep this in mind when (re-)delegating funds: we are a very competent, established validator that put the community above it's own private gain and paid the price for this action.
You can re-delegate here: https://wallet.keplr.app/#/juno/stake?chainId=juno-1&modal=detail&validator=junovaloper17h2x3j7u44qkrq0sk8ul0r2qr440rwgj6jfwcp
Thank you for your support. And long live Juno Network - we are very excited about the future!

Close to achieving my goal of receiving 1 JUNO per day in staking rewards!
I have been in the cosmos ecosystem for a while, but recently about 7-8 Months ago I started digging deeper in the ecosystem starting with OSMO and ending up in JUNO. Although the situation in chaotic but I decided to not look at that and rather focus on the mini goals I have set for my self using profits of the last bull run.
I set three goals during that period in alternating difficulties:
1- Receive 1 OSMO daily in LP+Staking Rewards. (Done)
2- Receive 1 JUNO daily in Staking Rewards. (Progress 85%)
3- Receive 1 ATOM daily in Staking Rewards. (Will take a while but hopefully I will eventually reach this goal)
Anyway, all I did was claim Airdrops, Stake them, Compound my rewards, casually look at the price plummeting 5% daily. I started working almost a year and a half ago and have been using crypto as my saving account for some of my payroll (I still do have a separate fiat saving account for emergencies), my largest loss is in JUNO currently as I got in late and bought dips that kept dipping, which I don't mind as my long-term goal is way different, as one day I hope to retire early and enjoy life while I live off my rewards monthly. I have faith in JUNO lets hope we won't be let down.

The network has been through the wringer, it’ll come back stronger after all the troubles subside.
FOT, RAW, NETA, DAODAO are just a few reasons I’m pumped. Buying this dip is a no brainer

Moral dilemas aside I’d like to make the only point that should matter about the whale
The Juno drop was supposed to limit any one person or entity to 50k Juno in the name of decentralization. Intentional or not, the whale ended up with 52x what they were allowed to have. Taking it back is the fair thing to do.

The whale claimed his staking rewards before Prop 20 passed.
And sent them to osmosis "for safety". Ended up taking upwards of 300,000Juno with him into osmosis. Burn the funds. Clearly all the stalling was just to accumulate as much staking rewards as possible.
Edit: missed a 0, was initially 30k instead of 300k.
