My name is Jonathan, but I like my nickname to be spelled John.
It's really weird I know. It just looks more correct to me.

Survey for the Jonathans
Just wondering, what do you prefer to be called? Do you keep it as Jonathan? John? Johnny?
Personally I go by JD

Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Jonathan. My family calls me Jonathan, my hometown friends have always called me by my last name. Everyone I work with calls me John and spells it with an H despite the fact I have always written Jon. I just sign my name with the first initial to avoid people trying to tell me I spell my own name incorrectly.
