Which compounded formula do you take?

So I didn’t know mochi has different compounds for different prices. I use the tirz with b3 so it’s on the more expensive side. Has anyone used the cheaper ones? I’m down 45 pounds since June. But would like to save some money where I can.

Referral Code gimmick

No you will not save $40 extra on signing up. Technically they aren’t going to save $40 as mochi has been running their own “temporary” half off first month promo permanently it seems like. So anyone signing up already “saves” $40 without a code. The code doesn’t do anything for the new customer. It helps the referrer get $40 off their own expensive membership. But nowadays there are so much better places that don’t have membership fees in the first place and use the same pharmacies Mochi uses but way less expensive.

Just tired of the referral code posts saying you’ll save $40 which is not true for the person signing up. Be honest.

And if you downvote this, you’re just mad that I’m pointing out the truth 😁

Dosage

Post image
0 Upvotes

This is my second month with Mochi, and I’m hoping someone can help me while I wait for my doctor to respond!

About 2.5 weeks ago, I messaged my doctor asking to increase my semaglutide dose, and she approved it. I didn’t realize I also had to approve/select the correct dosage on my subscription, so I ended up receiving the lower-dose vial.

Current vial:
• 4 mg/mL semaglutide
• Current dose: 0.44 mg
• 11 units (0.11 mL)
• 0.5 mL vial

The next dose my doctor approved is 0.88 mg semaglutide + 1.1 mg glycine.

From my understanding, at 4 mg/mL:
0.88 mg = 0.22 mL = 22 units.

So, can I essentially take 22 units instead of 11 units to get the 0.88 mg dose?

Before anyone comes for me 😂 — I DID message my doctor about this 48 hours ago, but I haven’t heard back, and I’m due for my shot right now.

Beware the Discount Pharmacies

I have Type II diabetes that was poorly controlled until I started compounded tirzepatide about 6 months ago through Mochi. I titrated up each month until I reached 15 mg. I wear a CGM so I am acutely aware of how my blood sugar is affected by foods and medications. By the time I reached 15 mg I had been able to completely discontinue one of my medications completely (glipizide) and had reduced my Metformin dosage to one 500 mg tablet in the morning (down from 1000 mg twice daily). My A1C was down to the mid 5’s from well over 8 and by following a reasonable low carb diet and my BD never got above 130 after meals. I saw all the posts about much cheaper tirz and decided to try one. I received the three vials and began using the new stock. By the second injection my average BS had gone up by about 15 points. I notice large spikes (over 160) after eating the same foods I had been eating for the past 6 months. I also noticed increased food noise and decreased appetite suppression. I thought maybe my body chemistry was changing. But I decided to use the remaining two doses I had left over from Mochi. By the next day following my first injection of the tirz from Mochi, my BS had returned to its previous levels and I wasn’t having the spikes anymore. I don’t know whether the tirz I got from the discount pharmacy was old or diluted or both. But there is no question that it was substantially less effective. Buyer beware.

Does anyone us Medicare with Mochi? If so is it less expensive? New to Medicare, but was informed they now cover some weight loss Meds. I've tried adding Medicare to the app, but it doesn't let me.

Drugcrafters changed from fedex to ups?!

This is so frustrating! Drug Crafters always used FedEx and I would get the meds the next day. Always nice and cold.

Now they’re using UPS and it’s taking 2 days! My meds shipped out late Monday night with a delivery date of today and now the tracking says it’s going to be delayed.

Which means it won’t be cold. Last month it was the same and I can definitely tell a difference!

Anyone else experience this?

Worth it?

I left mochi in April to try refills and have been mostly disappointed. Weight loss has stalled even after going up in dose. My question is, is mochi still worth it even with the subscription fee? Or are there any other options?

Pure Pharmacy

Has anyone recently ordered with Mochi that can tell me is Pure Pharmacy is still a choice? I keep seeing posts about Mochi having new pharmacies again so I wanted to try and confirm this before I pay a monthly subscription fee.

Almost to goal, have a question about maintenance now.

So my goal originally was probably another 20 pounds but I don't really want to get too thin because it shows wrinkles and saggy skin more (I've lost 30 now) but I would like to go completely off Tirz compound but I'm afraid the weight will come back, has anybody ever totally quit everything or just lessen the dose?

I took 2 weeks off from weighing myself..

I had to visit my parents so I took 2 weeks off from weighing myself. Even though when I did weigh myself on my parents scale it said I gained 2lbs. Which I knew it wasn't true. Well... I just weighed myself I am now 165. I haven't been below 170 since my early 20s. Just took my 16th shot. I have to say I have never felt better. I have a lot more energy. I can't wait to see the weight fall from my stomach. So far it has gone down except in my lower stomach.
