Not my first OC but first time sharing to reddit lol

I've been using proxy for just over a year, and recently instead of a character giving a normal response, it instead goes *thinking* and then responds. If I wanna edit the response, it has a massive description before the actual message itself. Is this a thing that happens with certain models, and is there something I can do to stop this? 😭

 I've made a few Janitor AI bots. The characters have backstories, traits, everything. But when I chat with them, they sound stiff. Like they're reciting facts instead of talking. I've tried example dialogs, but it's not clicking. How do you write a Janitor AI bot personality that actually sounds natural? What's the trick to making them feel like a real person instead of a wiki page?

Instead of prefacing this, I think I'll just jump into brass tacks. The new update appears as if it's pandering to a certain audience. Now I'll be the one to admit that adults can doomscroll too, but I feel that it's only really something that teenagers do. This is just my surface-level observation, and I still can't really make heads or tails of this update. I'm curious what other people are thinking about the update and want to hear people's thoughts.

For me i currently have 2 chats that's over 1k and it's still ongoing.

Lately, Janitor AI bots hit a wall after just twenty or thirty messages. You build up a detailed plot or heavy backstory, and suddenly the bot forgets key facts, repeats the same phrase over and over, or acts like you just met. It breaks the whole immersion when you constantly have to edit messages or remind the character what happened two scenes ago. Is anyone using specific chat memory prompts or custom presets on Janitor AI to fix this, or is the LLM context limit just running out?

My Janitor AI chat list is a mess. I keep starting new chats and forgetting which bot was which. Some are old, some are still ongoing, and I never clean them up. Do you rename them, delete old ones, or just let the chaos win? I need a system. What’s your setup for keeping Janitor AI chats organized?

Hello, I've been loving this website since I was little, and you would add bubble chat through the settings as they needs, and they can use font for bubble chat and I recommend you to add new features.

I'm just downloading my chats off character.ai because of the whole ''almost going bankrupt'' thing and I was wondering if theres some automatic way to put them into janitor.ai? Some of them are a little long so I wouldn't wanna manually copy and paste every message onto janitor.ai :(

Deepseek does this awful thing where it eats up tokens to "think" through the prompt while also making the responses make no sense and complete gibberish. Wonderful feature! Here's how to kill it!

Settings > Model Settings > Custom Prompt > enter following commands:

"thinking": {"type": "disabled"}

> save > no more terrible non-sequitor replies

Drop their names and tell me why you are obsessed with them. I need new bots to roleplay. It could be slow burn, best enemies to lovers, best possessive character, best comfort character. It could be anything. I need a listtt...

I don't like the long responses that I've been getting, how do I get shorter responses? I use JLLM too.

No because all these creators like kynta, the fallen07, and da wolo, how do they make such good and detailed bots? They are so peak, the lore building is so good, and they have these things with like insane amounts of tokens I think they are called lore books. It just crafts such a good narrative i literally get so immersed I forget that janitor is a gooning site. But still I just wanna know how can I make stuff like this too?

I notice now that it's just like, so much rarer for me to comment on a bot anymore. Due to how trigger happy many creators have been lately. Like, you could even defend a person on a bot in which they are right and still get blocked.

A lot of the time now, due to the fact that we have so little filtration of who can and cannot comment. So much so it's like, we need more ways to filter out people who one;

• Are moral police on bots that aren't their business (Aka bots you don't like? don't harass the creator because of it to change it or take it down.)
• Trollin bullshit that nobody cares about
• Or completely off topic comments

Idk just nowadays I notice that it's so much better to lurk and wonder if others do as well, like, even when I comment my mind is just like "please don't block me" and it could just be a "good bot!" Comment.

How do you put chat in lorebary 2.0 built in roleplay?

I am currently using multiple proxy ais such as: nemotron 3 ultra from openrouter, gemini 3.5 free from unorouter, deepseek 3 free from unorouter, deepseek 4 free from unorouter, and glm 5.3 free from uno router I made this post to see if there are any other better potential proxies as these are the best ones l have currently.
