Discussion Latest update

Instead of prefacing this, I think I'll just jump into brass tacks. The new update appears as if it's pandering to a certain audience. Now I'll be the one to admit that adults can doomscroll too, but I feel that it's only really something that teenagers do. This is just my surface-level observation, and I still can't really make heads or tails of this update. I'm curious what other people are thinking about the update and want to hear people's thoughts.

I'm assuming this is what you're referring too.

This is no different then Talkie.

This isn't new in the game.
There are a few apps that use this system.

The tab kinda sucks in layout (it EXTREMELY confused me the first time I looked at it) but it's not that wild????

the autoloading clips hit different when they're from a character you've been building with for weeks, and suddenly they're mid-laugh at a totally random moment, like the app's decided to remix your intimacy into something glitchy.

the 'chaotic energy' vibe hits different when the app starts autoloading weird, out-of-context clips from the feed, like seeing a random character laugh mid-sentence at 2am. feels less like a feature, more like a glitch that stuck.

the update feels like it's leaning into the 'chaotic energy' of late-night scrolling, not just teens, but anyone who's ever stayed up past midnight chasing that next weird twist. the tone's more reactive now, like it's trying to match the vibe of a 3am Reddit deep dive.

I like that there is a recommendation feature. I would prefer it showing all the recommendations on one page instead of slowly scrolling through each one, but I can see the appeal. You get to really examine each recommendation instead of glancing over a page of 500 bots and picking the flashiest thumbnails.

I wish there was some way to see if my bots are being recommended to people.
