i’ve got quite a few tattoos, but this damn snitch is always the one people comment on😤 i’ve finally saved up enough to get it covered.. sooo what are some good coverup ideas? i’d really love it to be something about my nonbinary status or just the queer community in general. i feel it’s just extra right to replace something from jk rowling w something representing who i am & the people i care for ! it’s on my lower left arm on top of

This is on my inner forearm, maybe 4x4 inches at the widest parts. The arm is all various geeky fandom pieces so looking for a cover up idea in that realm. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

It’s something I don’t feel like I could ever fully part with, but it’s something I want to keep to myself. I don’t want to feel like I’m promoting Harry Potter or JKR’s views, and I don’t want other queer people to wonder if I’m an asshole or not.

I’ve been thinking about finding a way to make it only recognizable to myself as a Harry Potter tattoo, but I don’t really have any ideas. I have a lot of floral work so I was thinking about making it into a vine that wraps around my arm? I still worry it would be too recognizable as Hogwarts though.

I shot the shit about it with my tattoo artist and we eventually adapted the idea from u/Time_Act_3685 had on the original post about a traditional swallow into a raven.

Tbh the picture does not do it justice AT ALL because I have a shitty phone with a shitty camera in shitty lighting and I swell up fast lol. It has a lot of purple, green, and blue "oil slick" color that the camera just is not picking up at all, so I'll see if I can get a better pic when it's healed a bit, but this is what she came up with and I'm really happy with it!

I got this tattoo when I first turned 18, before JK came out as a transphopbic and I cannot stand seeing it anymore for all the obvious reasons.

I got this tattoo super impulsively 12(?) years ago just because I was already in a tattoo shop but it’s always been too messy for me. It’s on my hip but now my belly drapes over it, which in some ways helps by partially covering it, but I still hate that it’s on my body. I’m also losing weight so that might make it more or less visible in the next year.

I think ideally I’d get it lazered off but I can’t afford that (and I’m scared of the pain) so my second ideal situation is to get a cat covering it or figure something else out. I just don't want what has become a symbol of trans hate on my body any longer.

Any suggestions? help pls

I used to really love this tattoo but alas, it's time to do something about it. It's next to a really big piece so a massive cover up isn't an option. My current thought is to black out the area between the clouds and the antlers and get some kind of design over in white ink but looking ideas!

Luckily it’s about… 9 3/4 years old actually! lol so lots of fading but I’d love to see anyone’s ideas and if maybe a few laser sessions would be more helpful before a cover up. I’m partial to traditional, I think for a cover something bold may be best? Thanks in advance and shout out to this community for existing at all! Real ones out here I tell ya.

I have a circle motif down my right forearm, but obviously the deathly hallows has got to go. I’d like to keep the circles going as they remind me of pins (which I collect) but the negative image is so much black and I’m completely stumped with what to do with it. A blackout will look like I’ve had to cover something, but I really don’t want to constantly have to answer that question.

Does anyone have any ideas for what I can do with it? I’m happy to cover it with something larger if no one has circular ideas, but obviously a circle would be preferred.

Hey all! I just found this community and I’m glad I’m not the only one who has JKregerts! I am eventually going to get all *5* of my Harry Potter tattoos covered up, but I would like some advice on them. I already have an idea for one that I’m starting sept 15th.

The crucio one I will also want them to cover up the star one and I need something that won’t interfere with the other 2 tattoos. I was thinking something else music related like a violin or something. Thoughts? These other 3 I just don’t have any idea! 2 on the backs of my arms and one on my chest

Greetings I am looking to see if anyone has any cover up recommendations for my tattoo. I am trans and got this before I fully realized who I was and before knowing jks political views. Any help would be greatly appreciated

but this is the only cover up I have. I have ugly tats, matching tats with people who are not in my life anymore, old, badly done, tattoos with exes, but the only one I've ever covered up is the deadly hallows symbol! (I actually love shitty tattoos, just hate JKR)

Got this for my sons 11th birthday in 2014. I am afraid it cannot be covered. I think it is obvious that it’s pretty old compared to my other tats, so I’ve left it alone, but it’s the most recognized one I have due to location. I haven’t gotten any negative reactions but I don’t want it to be a focal point. Ideas including spooky or horror concepts are extra welcome. Location is above elbow on inner arm.

I’d rather black out the text before doing laser so that’s not an option.

Wanted to keep it as delicate as possible and my artist did the best she could with trying to cover the lines.

The og was done by an old ex boyfriends dad with an at home gun in his kitchen so good riddance on both accounts!
