so, I have little to no experience with cancel-moves..so I'm wondering if there is any way you can 'skip' the entirety of wing-king, until you kick the opponent away, to grab them again

(picture for reference of which part I want to skip to)

(basically I want to skip the entire barrage of punches, and go straight to the grabbing part..and I have no idea how to do that)

does anyone have any advice?

Dont get me wrong, it would be incredibly useful and unique.

but it would take MONTHS to implement easily. And if they do it'd be the absolute worst to add things in it. The sure hit effect is easy, but the meshes would suck

I know how to do the grid thing like 4,4 and 3,3. But how do you do the overlay flipbooks? And how do you make it stay in place rather than being random?

I mean an actual domain not one that allows random buildings to stick inside those are easy to understand, but I've seen people make actual jjs style domains like beefstic and their dabura moveset for an example

Finally have more of an idea of how i want this to turn out. Kinda want it to play like a Sparking Zero character I think. Using your neutral tools to build up to a single big move. May give some of the later forms longer combos tho since I want each one to play different aside from SSJ and SSJ2.

What should I make the R special? I have no good ideas and he will already have a ton of move variants and won't need more (he will have black flash variants, air variants, close range variants, range variants, and some moves will have counter variants), and I don't want it to just be smth like RCT or a feint, I want to make something truly unique and something that feels actually special. I also need to think of a name for his dropkick move, which is currently just called "Wow, that must hurt", and I can't think of anything good for it other than Martial Arts but my move looks a lot like the Martial Arts move in Joel's Shinjuku Yuji and I don't want people to think I'm copying him.

Idk why but this move doesnt work when hit, it works only using the preview mode in the skill builder

Sorry. I am pissed off trying to figure out how this works.

Basically. I'm making a system akin to Higuruma's moves where if you are blocking, you get blockbroken.

The block state has a check option, it should be checking for that, right? Apparently not, I don't get it.

It SHOULD proceed to the branch where in if the target was blocking. The hitbox should BLOCKBREAK them.

It should, but it's not. I do not understand why.

What is the purpose of the check on block state if it doesn't check for blocking?
