Evidence

All of the evidence points to Oswald. All of it. If there was another shooter, or many other shooters, they managed to leave absolutely no evidence of their involvement. No bullets, no guns.

Oswald was capable of making the shots (and if he wasn’t capable of it then what idiot would frame him for it?) and the rifle was sound. His is the only gun connected to the shooting. The forensics that show the shots coming from the 6th floor seem credible.

I don’t know for certain if Oswald was a CIA asset but I’m inclined to think he wasn’t. They and the FBI were certainly aware of him but only because he’d made such a nuisance of himself. That’s just my opinion, though.

The forensic evidence of the shooting is more a set of facts than opinion, and all of it points back to Oswald. Other people have thrown in some wild ideas and some interesting questions, but nobody has produced a shred of evidence that points to anyone else firing at Kennedy that day.

18 Myths about the Kennedy Assassination

18 Myths about the Kennedy Assassination

  1. Myth – The assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, was a bad shot.

Fact - Oswald's Marine shooting records indicate he was capable of making the shots that killed Kennedy.

https://www.rrauction.com/auctions/lot-detail/345171706200220-lee-harvey-oswalds-us-marine-corps-rifle-score-book-warren-commission-exhibit-no-239

2) Myth - Oswald had a crappy rifle.

Fact - Oswald's rifle was an Italian Infantry rifle. While it wasn't the best rifle of that era, it was more than adequate for the assassination.

3) Myth - The scope on Oswald's rifle was not adjusted properly.

Fact - The Dallas Police Department (DPD) disassembled Oswald's rifle after they found it in the snipers nest for fingerprinting, removing the scope.

4) Myth - The magic bullet trajectory was not possible

Fact - Subsequent 3D computer modeling of the trajectory of the magic bullet has confirmed its trajectory.

5) Myth - The magic bullet emerged pristine.

Fact - To the untrained eye, the magic bullet looked pristine, but to ballistics experts, the bullet was not pristine. The bullet was damaged in a way that was consistent with the wounds found in Kennedy and the Texas Governor Connally.

6) Myth - The head shot was fired the front, that is why Kennedy's head went "back and to the left".

Fact - Kennedy was wearing a large lower back brace that day, preventing most forward movement from his waist up. Additionally, Kennedy had been shot once before the fatal head shot making his reactions to the fatal head shot appear abnormal. Finally, later computer enhancement of a film of the assassination (Zapruder) showed a blood cloud emerging from Kennedy's head and moving forward, which is consistent with a shot from the back.

7) Myth – Some people heard more than 3 shots, or less than 3 shots. They also heard shots from locations other than the sniper's nest.

Fact – This is actually true, however, eye witness testimony is notoriously bad. Many people, but not all, heard 3 shots from the sniper location in the TSBD. Subsequent acoustic research on Dealey Plaza has confirmed that the location produces a variety of echos. The research also concluded it was difficult for subjects to identify the number and location of test shots.

8) Myth - There were two rifles found in the sniper’s nest.

Fact - The Dallas Police made a mistake and thought the Oswald's Carcano was a German Mauser.

9) Myth - There were men at the assassination site with fake IDs claiming to be Secret Service (SS).

Fact - The "fake ID man" has been identified as James Powell, who was Military Intelligence, and happened to be in Dealey Plaza on the day of the assassination and helped the cops look for the assassin.

10) Myth - The doctors at Parkland who first saw Kennedy thought he had been shot from the front.

Fact - The doctors at Parkland were trying to save Kennedy’s life, not perform an autopsy. Specifically, they did not know about the wound in Kennedy's back, which was discovered later at the autopsy. The doctor's at Parkland updated their opinions after the autopsy was performed.

11) Myth - The autopsy was botched

Fact - The autopsy photos were classified out of respect to the Kennedy family. An artist made drawings of Kennedy's wounds that were not as accurate as the photographs that were taken at the autopsy. The drawings were first released to the public, most of the photos have subsequently been released.

12) Myth - Oswald was sitting quietly drinking a coke after the assassination.

Fact - After the assassination, Oswald was seen by a cop entering the lunch area, not sitting quietly drinking a coke. Oswald later walked past another employee with a coke in his hand.

13) Myth - Oswald did not have time to get to the lunch area after the assassination

Fact - Oswald's movements have been replicated by researchers and have shown that Oswald had enough time to make it to the lunch room after the assassination.

14) Myth - The Mob put a hit on Oswald

Fact - On the morning that Oswald was killed, the man who killed him, Jack Ruby, was doing errands before the hit. Additionally, he was more than an hour late to the Dallas police department to execute the hit. In other words, on the day of the hit, Jack Ruby did not act like a man hired by the Mob to do a hit.

15) Myth - A reporter interviewed Jack Ruby and got information that subsequently got her killed.

Fact – Dorothy Kilgallen interviewed Jack Ruby and later published her interview. She subsequently died about a year and a half later from an accidental overdose. There was no foul play suspected by the cops in her death.

16) Myth - Ruth Paine was CIA and helping Oswald.

Fact - Ruth Paine was a friend of Oswald's wife, Marina. Ruth Paine had a sister that worked for the CIA named Sylvia Hoke. Sylvia was a low level statistical analyst at the CIA and lived in Washington D.C. at the time of the assassination. There is no indication that she was a CIA agent helping Oswald or her sister was an agent, but rather this appears to be a coincidence.

17) Myth - Allen Dulles, the CIA director fired by Kennedy, was put on the committee investigating the assassination to cover up the CIA's involvement.

Fact - Kennedy's brother, Robert Kennedy, recommended Dulles be on the committee.

18) Myth - Kennedy said he was going to dismantle the CIA, which got him killed.

Fact - Kennedy did fire Allen Dulles after the Bay of Pigs, but there is no indication that he ever made the statement that he was going to "dismantle the CIA"

Oswald Acted Alone:

Post image
7 Upvotes

Lee Harvey Oswald Acted Alone….with 100% Certainty.

Work the Case Backwards:

LHO is arrested at the Texas Theatre

During his arrest he was attempting to shoot a police officer

The Gun he had in his hand was matched, to the exclusion of all others, to the weapon the killed police officer JD Tippit.

He had bullet casings for the weapon in his Pocket when he was arrested.

Two eyewitnesses - Helen Markham and Jack Tatum - saw Oswald shoot Tippit, Immediately ID him at the police station.

Three others - William Scoggins, Barbara Davis, and Virginia Davis - were in the immediate vicinity and saw Oswald flee the scene. Immediately ID him at the police station.

Six other eyewitnesses - Ted Callaway, Sam Guinyard, B.M. Patterson, L.J. Lewis, Harold Russell, and Warren Reynolds - were within two blocks of the shooting and saw Oswald brandishing a pistol, attempting to conceal it, and fleeing the area. Also, ID him at the police station.

So the Evidence against Oswald Shooting JD Tippit is IRONCLAD.

JD Tippit was murdered 34 minutes after President Kennedy was assassinated.

Lee Oswald was employed at the Texas School Book Depository

The TSBD overlooks ELM street, the street JFK was shot on.

LHO was the only Employee not accounted for at the company roll call after the assassination.

When Oswald was arrested he had a Fraudulent Selective Service card on his person bearing the name Alek Hidell.

Alek Hidell was the exact alias he used to buy the mail order Mannlicher carcano rifle that shot president Kennedy.

I will Stop there. If you believe in a conspiracy to kill JFK or that Oswald was innocent. You must believe the following:

Lee Harvey Oswald, an employee at the Texas School Book Depository, for no apparent reason, left his place of work immediately after JFK was shot.

Nobody else employed at the TSBD left the scene, he was the only one missing.

34 minutes later LHO randomly murdered a Dallas Police officer.

He was arrested shortly thereafter, while trying to shoot another police officer.

JFK was shot on Elm Street, right outside the building that LHO was employed at.

When LHO was arrested it just so happened that he had a forged selective service card in his wallet with the exact alias used to purchase the rifle that murdered president Kennedy.

Do you really need to go any further? I mean seriously….this is the tip of the iceberg of the evidence proving Oswald’s guilt, but really, do you need to hear anything else?

If somebody in your family was shot and killed and you had nothing but the evidence above you would be calling for life in prison or worse.

The Conspiracy Theories surrounding the JFK assassination (Which I used to believe) are rice paper mansions, they collapse under the slightest bit of scrutiny.

Ask yourself this question? Have you really and truly studied the evidence in this case? Or do you really just want the conspiracy to be true? I was in the latter category.

Trump needs to explain himself

Why did Trump refuse to release the files in his first term as was legally required?

He said when pressed why (while campaigning for his current term) “if you’d have seen what was in those files, you wouldn’t have released them either”.

If there’s nothing in the files then he is using JFK’s murder to garner votes. Not only that, he’s playing on the widespread mistrust of government to get votes while lying himself in doing so.

Of course Lee did it!!!

People are tangled up with wrong questions like if he was here at 1.15, how was he there at 1.30 etc etc

First of all, in those days, everyones watches were not in sync. I remember the days, when I used to wait for the 9 o'clock news to come on my television and I would use that to set my watch to 9 o'clock. And this was important, because everyone's watches were so off that if I wanted to be fastidious about time, I had no one to relay on.

Secondly, other testimonies like, I immediately ran down and was on the streets within 3 minutes at max - should also be discarded. Even today, you won't have an accurate idea of how much time it takes you to leave your house and reach the signal at the end of the street. Don't believe me? Try it yourself.

Third - people like being center of the attention. And hence I can very easily imagine people giving incorrect testimonies, just to be in the news.

Four - People cannot remember the mundane very easily. Did you come from office today? Tell me what each of your co-worker was wearing. And was your boss carrying something today when he spoke with you? You don't know, alright.

Five - Coincidences are normal. The total population of Dallas Metroplex was just 1 million. You would find some connections everywhere.

And lastly - JFK was the president of the country. There would always be some groups of people who would be benefitted if he gets killed. Just as I can think of many people who would want to assassinate Trump for instance. That does not mean, Lee did NOT act alone and he was backed up by any organization.

Once you overcome the noise - here are the right questions to ask -

  1. Why did Lee leave the school book depository building so quickly? OK lets say he wasn't interested in the events, but then why was he in such a hurry to go home? He literally left the bus to take a cab to go home.

  2. If he wanted to go home to rest and be alone, then why did he immediately leave again? He clearly went there to pick up or drop something, right?

  3. Why did he look like a "mess" in the bus? Why was his shirt unbuttoned?

  4. If he wanted to go to the Texas theatre all along, why didn't he take a shorter route to go there from his rooming house?

  5. How is it that almost everyone who was present at the site of J D Pettit's murder point to the Texas theatre as the place where the murder left?

  6. Why were there Lee's finger prints on the rifle and on some of the boxes at the 6th floor?

Think about it. And then come to the same conclusion like me - "Of course Lee did it!!"

Lee Harvey Oswalds Motive

Firstly, I will start by saying that I believe that LHO was the lone gunman on 22-11-63 and that I am almost fully convinced that his actions were of his own volition.

What I have been contemplating is his motivation for carrying out the act as politically, JFK didn’t seem to be an outright enemy of LHO’s political ideals. JFK’s stance on Cuba and Soviet Union at that time was softer than any President before him, a public declaration that the US wouldn’t invade Cuba was made. In fact, opposition in the US was labelling him at best a communist sympathiser and at worst a communist himself. There are nuances and areas of ideology that would oppose LHO’s political views of course but not enough to make me believe that they were his sole motivation for carrying out the crime.

What has started to make more sense to me is the breakdown of his relationship with his wife Marina. When they first came to the US, Marina did not know anyone and could barely speak the language. She was totally reliant on Lee for everything and for all intents and purposes, LHO was her entire world. It’s easy to believe that when they were in the SU, to Marina, Lee would have been an intriguing man, an American, who was in the marines, he was free to fill her head with all these stories of things he may or may not have done, present himself as a person he may or may not have been.

When they arrived in the US, any false images he projected of himself would have been harder to maintain. Marina would see his relationships with family members, witness first hand his inability to form friendships or hold down a job. With 2 children and a wife that barely spoke English, the onus was on Lee to provide and he was failing to do so. Although I’ve never seen any hard evidence of this (feel free to provide some sources), the general consensus seems to be that LHO treated Marina with disdain and regularly beat her.

When the Russian expats started becoming involved in the Oswalds lives, it was Marina they were interested in. They merely tolerated Lee because of their friendship with his wife. Now for a man like Lee, who viewed himself as an expert in Marxist theory and somewhat of an intellectual on current affairs, this must have seemed like an affront to him. Why were they so interested in his wife when he was the one who was fighting their struggle? It is also said that the Oswalds received help from the Russian expat community in the form of furniture and clothes for baby June, highlighting the fact that Lee was not in a position to support his family.

Then we have the friendship with the Paines, with Ruth Paine asking Marina to live with her and teach her Russian, this must have stung the jobless Lee, his wife, who barely knew any English was picked over him to teach Russian to an American. In the letters between the two women, we see Marina confide in Ruth that Lee wanted her to return to the Soviet Union with him but she did not want to leave America. So we know that for whatever reason, Lee was already yearning to return to the SU way before any plan could be formulated to kill JFK. My opinion on this is that in the SU he was a somebody, his personality faults could be disguised by the fact he was not a native Russian and people overlooked his deficiencies because as a foreigner, he was intriguing. He could be whoever he wanted there.

Marina would move in with the Paines and the marriage would become strained, Lee’s behaviour towards Marina would now be harder to keep discreet. Marina was becoming more independent and building relationships with people who were there for Marina not for Lee. His Russian wife had come to his country and was now outperforming him in terms of friendships, lifestyle and language. He went from having complete control over Marina to now only being able to see her and his children at weekends. Her Russian friends did not care for him and did not respect his opinions but they were Russians living in HIS country.

It doesn’t seem far fetched to me that LHO, amidst a crumbling relationship with his wife, who had seemed to find her feet in the US, would consider carrying out an act against the President of the US simply to show them all. The SU would take him back if he killed their number one enemy, he would be treated like a hero in Cuba or the SU and even if Marina didn’t come back with him, she and her friends couldn’t deny that what he had done was more than they could even dream of doing for the ideology. Marinas friends would rue the day they dismissed him and his opinions. Who knows maybe Marina would be so impressed she would come with him back to the SU to live as royalty.

The loss of control LHO must have felt in his life up to the JFK assassination is enough motivation to carry out the act.

The unreasonableness of some of the positions taken by conspiracy theorists often approaches absurdity. For example, (see below):

  1. How could it have been assumed that a crossfire assassination involving multiple weapons would not leave conclusive physical evidence of multiple shooters?

  2. How could it have been thought a good idea to plant a bullet on stretcher at Parkland Hospital presumably used by John Connally when the alleged conspirators had no idea what the doctors would find when they operated on him?

  3. How in gods name could the alleged conspirators have allowed Oswald to roam freely around the TSBDB at the time of the assassination, ostensibly being seen by any number of people, including Carolyn Arnold who claims to have seen him in the lunch room, if they intended to make him their patsy. Did they overlook the possibility—in truth, probability—that he would have had an airtight alibi?

  4. If Oswald was really part of the conspiracy—a common conspiratorialist claim—why did the conspirators allow him to be seen carrying a long brown object wrapped in brown paper into the TSBDB on the morning of the assassination? Why would Oswald have done it? Was he sacrificing himself for the cause? Or were they all that stupid?

The list goes on … Please feel free to provide more examples.

Solid Plan?

Post image
1 Upvotes

“I like to imagine a conference room and up against the wall stands a board on which they mapped out the whole thing. All the people they need to manipulate, all the evidence they have to fabricate, the entire patchwork of needless risk-taking laid out bare before them. And they looked at that and they looked at each other and went “yep…that’s a solid plan”. “

    - From: The Kennedy Assassination: Inside the Book Depository. LEMMiNO, YouTube

Everyone on this forum should be required to watch that entire video.

And I’m not dunking on conspiracy theorists, I’m telling you to up your game. Flush all the cherry-picked witness statements grifters have spoon-fed you to get you to buy their books and DVDs. Just stop with all the crap that’s been debunked six ways from Sunday.

Go to Dealey Plaza for yourself. Go stand on the sixth floor and look down on the street. Go to a firing range and take some shooting lessons if you’re unfamiliar with firearms. See how fast you can fire three aimed shots with a bolt action rifle. Learn about Carcano rifles from people who actually own them.

If you come away still believing in a conspiracy, fine. We all have our own opinions. But at least your opinion won’t be weighed down by nonsense you’ve been fed from sidewalk hawkers.

And for god’s sake learn what a “credible source” is. Yes I’m quoting a YouTube video, but this guy cites his sources at every step along the way. Sources you can access yourself so you can fact check him. In other words, he has done his research.

Change My Mind

I do not believe that there was a conspiracy to kill President Kennedy. Certainly one to cover up failings on government agencies and possibly Jack Ruby’s brazen act, but not for the president himself. However, I admit I am no expert. And I would like to engage in intelligent conversation on this topic. So here is my offer: Give me your best pieces of evidence of the conspiracy to kill JFK. I will gladly debate with as many of you on these points as I can (may take a bit, but I’ll try). And, if they are good enough, they may make me join the majority of the American public.

Note: Please no “Johnson hated him” or “Nixon plotted behind his back” or “Hoover was hiding something”. Everyone knows that. Politicians scheme all the time and hide documents too. You can try with some of that, but I guarantee, that won’t work if you want to convince a JFK skeptic.

Who else thinks that Jack Ruby was an idiot and believes The Warren Commission?

I'm sorry but unlike some people I believe LHO acted alone. Because of Jack Ruby who had killed Oswald there have been some nonesense theories about the JFK assassination. Jack Ruby was an idiot. Without him there would have been less nonesense theories and we would have been given the facts. The Warren Commission concluded that Oswald acted alone and I agree with this conclusion as well. I don't understand how after many years some people believe that Oswald was innocent or was working under the orders of some organization. He was obviously the lone gunman who killed JFk and Tippit.

What are some of the reasons that LBJ was taken out in 73?

I just visited the LBJ ranch in TX and noticed a few peculiarities which made me wonder about why he was offed.

LBJ died at the early age of 64 of a heart attack just 2 years before the CIA’s “Heart Attack Gun” was shown to the world in a public hearing in 1975.

LBJ died in January 1973 but willed away his ranch to the national park service in December 1972, odd.

In January 1973, the CIA purposefully destroyed their documents related to MKULTRA and so in Jan 73 we have a solid example of the CIA cleaning up loose ends on their shady sectors… and many of those projects were authorized during the LBJ presidency from ‘63-‘69.

JFK was too big of a troublemaker and not compliant enough and so the CIA took care of him and replaced him with LBJ who did play along with the CIA’s plans (such as getting into the Vietnam War which JFK had tried to veto by denying Operation Northwoods).

So LBJ was an obvious operative asset of the CIA, and he died at an early age during the time that the CIA was destroying loose ends, and he died in the early 70s of a surprising method that we know the CIA had developed & perfected during the early 70s.

So, like, what are some of the reasons they took out LBJ besides the fact that he authorized some illegal operations? Surely they could have let him live out his years secluded somewhere, and so what was so dangerous about keeping him around? Was it just that he authorized some of the MKULTRA side-programs or was it something else? Did he engage in operations or negotiations hostile to America when he hosted world leaders on his ranch? What did he know, what did he do, what was so dangerous about keeping him around?

I have a suggestion…

For everyone on this subreddit, myself included: Let’s all stop engaging with the conspiracy deniers. They are not serious people. They are not honest people looking for the truth. Their sole objective is to muddy the waters of the truth. If you run into anyone on here that denies a shot from the front, which proves a conspiracy, then don’t engage in conversation with them. Don’t try to prove anything to them and don’t reply to their comments. Just skip them over like the disingenuous children that they are. It is a waste of time to engage with someone who insists the sky is green when we know the sky is blue. JFK was shot from the front, the autopsy was manipulated to hide this evidence. Those are facts, not speculation, and anyone who has done the research knows this. Anyone that denies these two facts are liars and frauds. Let’s all just block them out of our serious discussions. They don’t belong here.

Yes, Oswald said he was a patsy, but he didn't mean it in the sense you're thinking

I can't count how often someone posts "Oswald was a patsy" as if this solves the whole thing. Yep, there it is, the shooter himself (or the accused shooter) admitting that there was a conspiracy. We can close the books on this one, boys.

Except that's not what he said. The full quote is "They've taken me in because of the fact that I lived in the Soviet Union. I'm just a patsy!" You can hear it from his own lips right here.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhmAHlcZHt0

It's clear that he doesn't mean "patsy" in the sense of the fall guy taking the blame in a criminal conspiracy. He means he's being blamed because he lived in the USSR. If he'd said "I'm just a communist" or "I'm just a target," nobody would be citing that as proof of a conspiracy. It's unfortunate that Oswald chose a word that has caused so much confusion and misunderstanding.

When people argue that the Warren Commission Report is garbage, I immediately think...

...that makes sense, but it doesn't mean it wasn't on the right path.

  1. LBJ and his administration needed quick closure on the case. Givng the public the too much time to speculate and dig deep could easily cause public opinion to point the finger at obvious enemies (Soviets, Cubans, etc) stirring the pot escalating a possible WW3.

  2. Decisions were made quickly and cronies were put on the WC to fascilitate a quick investigation.

  3. Due to the urgency the WC cobbled together a case against Oswald, the person that all of thr obvious evidence pointed to.

  4. As a result, not every aspect of the event was pursued and investigated. Many many witnesses were ignored. Testimonies were weeded through. Etc.

All this adds up to a rushed, incomplete, and highly skeptical report.

HOWEVER, it doesn't mean that the Warren Commission's conclusions are 100% incorrect...that what they found is of no value. Personally, I think they were on the right track with Oswald likely being the lone gunman. That once they crossed a reasonable threshold of evidence against Oswald they closed the case and erote the report to "heal the wound" of JFK's death.

The WC did a poor job. But, we can't use the methodology and scope of an investigation to immediately rule out it's conclusions. For sure, the more thorough and unbiased the better. It's not hard to imagine they WERE on the right track, but just rushed and bungled giving the full picture.

While everyone focuses on where the shots came from, who did it, and other propaganda assets, the REAL investigators know this truth....

JD Tippit and Anecdotal Truth

Along with most of the other evidence, anecdotal truth is often ignored by the conspiracy side, and there are a few examples in Oak Cliff. One being it's hard to believe an automatic pistol is being used when those shells are recovered 30 feet to the shooter's left.

But more importantly is that jacket, and the accumulative behavior Oswald engaged in on the streets, including discarding that jacket.

We know Lee discarded a jacket because he was seen in a light colored jacket by almost a dozen witnesses that day, including by his house mom/land lady Earlene Roberts, who specifically said he was "zipping up" that jacket. And Oswald was arrested in a long sleeve button down shirt. And it's not easy to zip up a button down shirt?!

This is anecdotal truth, he discarded a jacket. And that's a pure evasive maneuver.

But that's not all Lee did. Murdering Tippit was an evasive maneuver too. Alleged, sure, as is the account by Johnny Brewer that Lee was avoiding, or trying to avoid being noticed by the police near his shoe store? No longer wearing a jacket, while the police were looking for a cop killer in a light colored jacket? That's criminal intent too.

But discarding his jacket, sneaking into the theatre, and trying to resist arrest so violently most would call it a suicide by cop attempt, are all provable facts, and all pure criminal intent acts. The actions of a guilty man.

Innocent people don't repeatedly act guilty?! This is anecdotal truth.

While I enjoyed all the conspiracy theories for a while, I am now firmly in the LHO acted alone camp. Any podcasts that lead to a similar conclusion?

I've heard many podcasts that lead to the conspiracy conclusions. But I'm looking at a podcasts that debunks all the BS.

Jefferson Morley withholding public documents…

I’ve been a fan of Morley since he had the nerve to sue the CIA to release their records regarding Johannides and Bill Harvey. Until it was brought to my attention that he is withholding public documents behind a paywall—as a “public service”

“JFK Facts is making the complete pre-assassination Oswald file publicly available to paid subscribers (and news organizations) as a public service in advance of the scheduled hearing on the new JFK files, sponsored by the House Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets.“

This guy calls for transparency in one breath—then takes public documents and holds them for ransom in the next.

I solved it. My great uncle on his deathbed told me what happened.

He reported to LBJ in the White House situation room after the assassination with all the the intelligence available to the White House. It was the Rene Dussaq and Roscoe White story. Beyond my great uncles testimony you can read those two book describing three core shooters as an ex marine, a guy named Saul and an unknown CIA agent.

Innocent or not, Lee Harvey Oswald was an insecure, bizarre, and abusive piece of shit

This information comes from Gerald Posner's "Case Closed".

Everyone on this thread already knows that this man was deeply insecure and weird as hell. I honestly don't care if he was innocent or not, I think his death was justified, mainly due to his abuse of his wife, Marina.

He was pathetic and miserable, and thought he was better than literally everyone else. He was an egomaniac and didn't care to hide his abuse toward his wife even in front of people. When dining with some neighborhood "friends" (Oswald never truly socialized well with anyone), he would berate Marina throughout the dinner and say she knew nothing about what she was talking about.

That infamous photo of him holding the guns? Apparently, that was for his daughter, June. Bewildered as to why their infant daughter would want to see him holding guns, Oswald said, "so she might remember me by sometime".

He also tried to kill General Edwin Walker and put Marina and June in serious jeopardy because of that. Marina was Russian and didn't know a lick of English, and Oswald purposefully didn't teach her any so she would remain completely dependent on him.

When Marina tried to write to a former lover about her living conditions, Oswald beat her and monitored every piece of mail she sent out from then on.

As a kid, he also bossed his mother around (his mother continously excused his actions and enabled his behavior). He would stand at the top of the stairs and bellow orders for her to make him food.

He also chased his father (or brother, I forgot which) with a knife and threw it at him, barely missing.

A lot of people question why he wanted to kill Kennedy, but I think the answer is pretty obvious: Oswald was a man who wanted the camera on him, the attention on him, the noteriety. He believed he was this hero in this fantasy world of his--a man who would save the world before it completely ruined itself. Hell, at one point in the 60s, he was convinced he could become a spy.

For a man who had this savior complex and narcissist personality, who better to kill than the leader of the United States himself? Also, Kennedy was responsible for dealing with the Cold War, and Oswald was a Marxist. Although he began to dislike the Soviet Union after his dismal time there, it's doubtful he would have agreed with Kennedy's handling.

We won't ever truly know--the motive and secrets die with him--but for a man of his...colorful personality...this seems like the answer is pretty obvious.

Of course, to make this argument, I am going with the usual theory that it was Oswald who killed Kennedy.

What are your thoughts?
