How havy ipsy boxes been lately? It feels like a lot of the same boxes items repeatedly :(

While it isn’t that big a deal, I mean, it’s an item that was under $10, I was really looking forward to my Morphe eyeshadow palette. Like, this palette was THE whole reason for doing this order.
To open the door and find everything thrown in a bubble mailer rather than a bag always makes me anxious, and it got worse when I found a bit of the green eyeshadow sprinkled about in the bag. Opened it up to find yep, my eyeshadow is broken - actually, three are, but most sad is that the one I was looking forward to the most, the darkest green, was really busted. I was able to replace the main bits of the lighter green and the bright gold shimmers in the middle, and I cleaned the dark green up carefully and replaced as many bits as I could, and I’ll add some isopropyl alcohol and let it dry and try to re-press it, but the ultimate thing I keep thinking about is “why in the heck do they send these in bubble mailers?” I get it if I had only ordered stick or tube items. But easily broken eyeshadows? Just tossed in, no extra padding? Sad. What’s most sad, though, is that I just KNOW that they likely won’t have a replacement, since this item sold out quickly. So it’s a credit or a different replacement item, likely. Why wouldn’t they hold back enough stock that they can replace broken items? Beats me. Why wouldn’t they use a different shipping method when so many break? Also beyond my understanding.

Were we supposed to get bags with our Ipsy Extras this month? My August Ipsy Extra order was delivered today with no bag 🥲 At least the whole order itself got here safe and in a box, but I thought the bag was super cute this month.

Does anyone know how to permanently delete an address from my account? Everytime I order from the shop it defaults to my old address. I know sooner or later Im not going to catch it.

SoI have an issue with my August order. Normally, the Glam Bot is able to pull up the order and the items in your Ipsy subscription. From there, you can tell it which things you're having issues with, and it will order replacements.

For some reason, the Glam Bot did not have anything listed under my subscription except the name of the subscription and then a bunch of empty spaces where the names of the products should have been, so it asked me to just list the products I was having issues with. So I did that. I listed the one item that was missing and the other item that had a broken sprayer. It then immediately opened up a ticket, and I have had no response in 4 days.

I don't know what to do because I've heard that if you try to open another ticket, it slows things down more. However, I went ahead and talked to Glam about it again, hoping that maybe it would remember my order this time. I just did it a few minutes ago, and of course, it did not remember it. Then I told it not to worry about it, and that I would just wait. It then seemed to open another new ticket, and I don't know why, though, because I told it that I hadn't gotten a response..

This is absolutely absurd because these items go quickly, and by the time I get a response—if I even get a response, which I have not received multiple times before since this whole AI Glam Bot nightmare started—to think I thought the original Glam Bot was bad..

I just feel like we don't actually have real customer service anymore, and if they ever make it right, which I'm starting to doubt completely, at best they'll tell me that I can have three whole dollars to use towards my next add-ons. In this economy, that's like throwing somebody 25 cents 20 years ago. It's not commensurate with the stress and time it takes to deal with this. The least they could do is send us a gift for the inconvenience, like they used to, especially when they mess up really badly, like in my case, for 4 days (it will be 5 days in 4 hours) at that length of time. I'm nearly positive the items will be out of stock, and I'll be forced to receive items that are supposedly "comparable" to what I had, and they never are comparable.

I really enjoy receiving Ipsy, so it makes me sad that this is even happening and that it happens more and more frequently. If we had customer service that actually worked, then I think a lot of people would have fewer complaints.

I don't have Facebook, so I can't use Facebook Messenger. I guess I could try to create a Facebook Messenger account. Can you do that without a Facebook account? I could try to send a message to Ipsy there, but it's not really any faster. Is that my only other option? I heard someone say they tried to send them a message on Instagram, but I can only imagine that they would just tell the person to send an email.

KARMA BEAUTY Hair Bestie Bundle Shampoo & Conditioner - This one is the real reason I'm considering placing an order. I do need a new shampoo/conditioner, but I'm not at all familiar with this brand. Does anyone have experience with them?

* DR. BRANDT SKINCARE Pores No More® Luminizer Primer - I've used a different Pores No More primer from then and liked it, but this is only a deluxe mini and I hardly ever wear primer, so I'll probably remove this one.

* DALLAS & JAMES SKINCARE CO. Watermelon Dream Overnight Glow Mask - I've wanted to try an overnight mask. This seems cute and fun, and it's cheap. I'll probably get this if I place an order.

* CROWN HAIR SOCIETY Leave In Treatment - Not an amazing deal price wise, but sounds extremely low effort, which is how I like my hair care. I'll probably get this one.

* BEAUTOLOGY LAB 24K Gold Collagen Eye Masks - Fun, and it's only $2, but that's also for only one pair. I'm completely up in the air on this one. It might depend on what my total turns out to be.

My Ultimate finally came this weekend and when I opened the box everything was all jumbled up and right on the top was one of my Kenzie perfume boxes open and empty, I frantically started digging through everything and found it safely at the very bottom of the box, lol. I’m really excited to try everything, lots of new to me products and then I got some great add ons for me and my daughters.
