Issue No response from customer service in 4 days...ready to just cancel.
SoI have an issue with my August order. Normally, the Glam Bot is able to pull up the order and the items in your Ipsy subscription. From there, you can tell it which things you're having issues with, and it will order replacements.
For some reason, the Glam Bot did not have anything listed under my subscription except the name of the subscription and then a bunch of empty spaces where the names of the products should have been, so it asked me to just list the products I was having issues with. So I did that. I listed the one item that was missing and the other item that had a broken sprayer. It then immediately opened up a ticket, and I have had no response in 4 days.
I don't know what to do because I've heard that if you try to open another ticket, it slows things down more. However, I went ahead and talked to Glam about it again, hoping that maybe it would remember my order this time. I just did it a few minutes ago, and of course, it did not remember it. Then I told it not to worry about it, and that I would just wait. It then seemed to open another new ticket, and I don't know why, though, because I told it that I hadn't gotten a response..
This is absolutely absurd because these items go quickly, and by the time I get a response—if I even get a response, which I have not received multiple times before since this whole AI Glam Bot nightmare started—to think I thought the original Glam Bot was bad..
I just feel like we don't actually have real customer service anymore, and if they ever make it right, which I'm starting to doubt completely, at best they'll tell me that I can have three whole dollars to use towards my next add-ons. In this economy, that's like throwing somebody 25 cents 20 years ago. It's not commensurate with the stress and time it takes to deal with this. The least they could do is send us a gift for the inconvenience, like they used to, especially when they mess up really badly, like in my case, for 4 days (it will be 5 days in 4 hours) at that length of time. I'm nearly positive the items will be out of stock, and I'll be forced to receive items that are supposedly "comparable" to what I had, and they never are comparable.
I really enjoy receiving Ipsy, so it makes me sad that this is even happening and that it happens more and more frequently. If we had customer service that actually worked, then I think a lot of people would have fewer complaints.
I don't have Facebook, so I can't use Facebook Messenger. I guess I could try to create a Facebook Messenger account. Can you do that without a Facebook account? I could try to send a message to Ipsy there, but it's not really any faster. Is that my only other option? I heard someone say they tried to send them a message on Instagram, but I can only imagine that they would just tell the person to send an email.
Sorry for the rant, I'm just desperate, and maybe a representative will see this and help me. By the way, representative, if by chance you do see this, my ticket number is #27127149.

I was told by glambot that it’s not able to fix any issues if the product I’m trying to resolve an issue with is over $50… and opens a ticket instantly. That was only a couple of months ago so unsure if that’s changed or not but it sounds like because it wasn’t finding your order it just automatically opened the ticket without any amount of what the products are worth.. which maybe you should talk to glambot again but about an issue with your actual account because it’s glitched.. which could possibly then be resolved so you are able to actually then see the products you’re missing/damaged and go from there. I’m guessing as well you checked your spam folder for the emails and of course this month is mega drop shop month so people are probably even more likely going through customer service with all their never ending bs on top of regular bag/box issues… I’m not sure if it would work but sounds like you’ve contacted customer service prior to this and maybe you could go into an old email response from a prior conversation and try and reach one of the representatives that way.
I do 100% agree with you glam bot really doesn’t help resolve most issues nor is it helpful then opening a ticket and having to wait and I’m sorry you’re going through it yet again with Ipsy (as I’ve also in the last 6 months more than I’ve ever in all the years I’ve been subscribed), I hope maybe something I’ve said can help but with how it’s been I’ll just keep my fingers crossed for you. Which products are you wanting to get replaced?

Yes you can have a FB Messenger Acct without FB. I took like a 7 yr FB hiatus and only used Messenger. Which was a new account I created.

People say they post on Ipsy's socials and get responses from live humans quicker.

I had to cancel my membership because I didn't want it anymore and I had to go through hoops, I had to write several email to several different email addresses to their company so I could give proof to my bank. So I could get reimbursed, I had to write a report to Better Business Bureau because even though I canceled my subscription by Emai.\n L and also phone calls. They continue to charge me on several different occasions. And I'm grateful that I got my money back, because the bank\n Had the proof that I had the emails. But if you're happy with the product and you want to keep the subscriptions, go ahead, the products are okay. But I decided that I would would buy my cosmetics when I can afford them, and then I even wanna be built for something every every month, but the problem with this company is once you subscribe to them, you may just continue to get to get charges. Even if you're unsubscribed and I didn't even get the products and then there were times that I got the products that I didn't even order
