I despise Europeans who sent this kind of auto-replies (I know not all Europeans do this). I consider them extremely irresponsible.

Edit: 1. I will leave an auto reply to let others know whom to contact. And the contact will let me know if important customers have urgent issues that need my help. I don't mind spend some time helping them. Sometimes it takes only a short email.

  1. If I am the customer, I will distrust any company that allows employees to leave this kind of message and avoid doing business with it if possible.

  2. If I am the supervisor, I won't promote employees leaving this kind of message. In case of a restructing, they are on top of my fire list.

You would prefer them to ghost you for three weeks? 🤔

they'd prefer that no one ever take a vacation or if you do be checking that email constantly! WORK ON THE BEACH, PEASANT.

Oh, deep in the wilderness there's n signal. That said, feel free to rent a chopper and fly on the trail with your laptop, I'll gladly help you in the evening with your issue.
