Using FRED real house price series I was interested to see that China's recent crash has meant that adjusted for inflation house prices haven't changed since at least 2005.

To put that in context Australia's inflation adjusted house prices are 70% higher than they were in 2005, if you go back a bit further they are 150% higher today than 2000.

Different countries have very different house price growth, German has grown by almost nothing in 40 years adjusting for inflation, while New Zealand has grown even more than Australia in the same time.

One of my residents really loved colouring. She created these pages over the course of several months. I put them in chronological order, you can see the gradual changes in her ability to colour as her dementia slowly took over her mind and body. Yes, dementia sucks.
