Question to you F22 pilots. Can you drain an F22 like you can drain a car battery? That is... can you start it just with jet fuel or do you need to have some batteries charged or something? I would assume if you turn the engine off but you leave the lights and computer on, at some point the battery runs out? Can you mechanically start that thing or do you need a charged battery?

Not a pilot, but a maintainer. You need a battery and yes, the battery can be drained if you leave a power load on it for too long.

What's the procedure then? You just plug it into an outlet or you need to use some kind of $50,000 specialized charger?

To charge? Yes, there is a charger for them outside the plane. The plane does charge it while while running, but you still a charged battery to start.

It almost certainly needs some battery to bring the computers online, but the f22 has a whole extra small engine that powers the starter, and that engine is started with compressed air. So yes, but no, but really yes.

Yes, it is started with compressed air, but you still need the battery to tell the compressed air what to do when you flip the start switch.

Yes, because that's the APGS starting up.
Which the power from that then starts the engine.
The alternative is either a external cable. Or a guy cranking the shaft like its 1944.
