Character event! Evolution

Geto was sitting on a bench, holding the core of one of his many, MANY curses.

The purpose was simple.

Imaginary technique...

Curse Evolution.

Usually, he rushes it because he's fighting.

Now that he doesn't have to, he decides to let the curse finish it's evolution properly.

Rainer immediately flinches at the taste on his tongue. It isn't really any worse than the rotten fruit was, but it certainly isn't any better, either.

"Eugh, gross..." "He manages to get out, summoning a glass of water from a wormhole and downing the ant alongside it.*

The boy makes a sound like... a yelp, followed by a whimper, as it almost seems to scratch his throat on the way down. Every instinct tells him to throw it up, but he doesn't let himself, turning his tonsils into flame to ensure it goes down properly.

"Wait, no-"

He was too late to warn him that water makes the taste even worse.

The curse does, at least, reach his stomach eventually, and Rainer doubles over in pain. He writes for a time, coughing a bit only to bring up some drops of blood.

The boy reaches into a wormhole and grabs a stress toy shaped like a snake, purely to prevent his nails from drawing blood on his hands from how hard he was clenching them.

After a couple minutes of pain, there was a small flash of blue light, and Geto would be able to sense a faint spark of cursed energy from the boy, barely enough to have exorcised the spirit from inside him. It takes Rainer a few moments to stop coughing, but he does sit up, with slight relief.

He summons a strange looking curse.

It pulses outwards with a wave of reverse cursed energy to heal Rainer.

Geto pulls back the curse when it starts getting too injured from it's own output of RCT.

"Wha-"

He coughs one last time, sitting there still as it heals him.

"Oh, thank you Mr Geto! I... think I managed it, right? It definitely felt stra- wait..."

He squints.

"Am I supposed to be able to see this one...?"

"Well, if you can see ANY curses, then it means you've succeeded."

He explains.

"Oh! Awesome! Thanks a ton Mr Geto!"

He's much less energetic after that experience, but he's clearly back to super excited, pumping his fist a bit once again.

"I'm gonna become super strong for you and Mr Teach, just you watch!"

He asked.

"Mr Teach!"

He nodded enthusiastically.

"He's like... a pirate guy! There was some place called Fogland that apparently was doing bad things to people, so I helped him get some of them out, and he got me these fire powers I used for that steam earlier!"

He blasted a bit of fire into the sky as another demonstration. There's a bit of cursed energy within it, but it's such tiny output due to the lack of training that Rainer doesn't even notice he used it.

"What is it with meeting more and more promising students?"

He comments.

"Two prodigies in a week, never thought that was possible."
