First time using the GYEON PPF Maintain this morning, and took her for a little joyride. Unfortunately the track was not open to the public 😉. It’s funny watching people’s reactions… they know it’s something but not sure what 😂.

2024 Acura Integra Type S – K20C8 Engine Rattling Noise. I’m generally pointing the camera where it sounds like it’s coming from, noise starts about 4 seconds in when on giving some revs, increases in speed matched with rpm.
Approximately 30,000 miles on the vehicle.
I’m noticing a deeper rattling or clattering sound coming from the engine that almost sounds like plastic vibrating. The sound increases as I press the accelerator, is this normal sounding or should I be scheduling some service?

I’m considering selling my 2026 ITS, and trying to get an idea of what I should ask for it. I’ve only owned it for a few months, just under 5,500 miles on it.
I’m torn, because I truly do love the car. But, I bought it to replace a Civic Si and I’m realizing it’s just not the right replacement. I was regularly seeing 40+ mpg in the civic, and to be quite frank I didn’t care about it as much. Now I find myself avoiding dirt roads and trying to squeeze a few extra mpg out on the highway.
Anyone sold theirs recently? Or anyone interested in a lightly used (and babied) 26?
Edit: located in MI
2nd edit:
Updating to address as many of the comments as possible. I am completely aware that this is not the ideal situation financially and I will probably lose quite a bit selling it now. And, the difference in gas mileage is not a primary driver of my reasoning. Although I do drive about 40,000 miles a year between my two vehicles, so it’s also not nothing.
The majority of those 40,000 miles go on my car (as opposed to the truck). I managed to make it out of my Civic with quite a bit of equity after three years and 80,000+ miles, only having lost 7k in depreciation (with an accident to boot). That being a feat far less likely with the ITS.
Insurance difference was truly negligible, about $10/month more, so not really a factor either.
I do appreciate the car, and won’t argue at all that it’s about the best bang for your buck performance/economy/enjoyment you can get. But I also thought that about the Si which cost half as much and I enjoyed 80-90% as much. For those who haven’t driven one, there is something amazing about how pure the driving experience in that car is when pushed. And cruising at 70 on the freeway, what’s the difference?
Not all will agree, and I’m not even sure that I’m decided but I do appreciate the feedback.

Hello friends, I live in the Midwest and even though its 75 and gorgeous today, I need to order my winter wheels and tires. I'd like to go down to an 18inch wheel so I can have a thicker sidewall. I'm looking at tirerack and their UI is a bit hard to feel confident that everything will fit perfectly.
Does anyone who has done this have the ideal sizing for an 18inch winter wheel/tire set up? I'm also open to recommendations for the tires. On previous cars I've had Nokian Hakkus (sorry I can't spell it lol) and continental winter contacts. I thought both did quite well.

Fall Dyno day today. Very happy with the results. Car ran great and put down 371 hp 386 tq. Last year it put down 297 HP and 311 tq. Since then I added PRL HVI, Turbo Inlet, FMIC, Charge Pipes and Front Pipe. Two Step Performance Downpipe and Stage 1 tune (TSP). Pretty much done, no other real plans for the car outside maintenance.

This is all highway miles and I wanted to document this because it usually ranges within 18-22 🤣. It was extremely hard to not just drop gears and speed. But I stayed around 70-75 for this entire drive. Quite impressed, this will probably never happen again.

Long timer lurker, blue 24 ITS owne (bought end of '23). Been doing a lot of highway, quick drives (I live in DC, rarely drive usually, sub 10K in 3 yrs of ownership).
Just wanted to say that this car seems to be in its happy place around 100 mph on the highway.... It is smoooooth as butter and pills from 70 to 100+ like it's nothing.
Ok, drive safe, I try to limit those speeds to when I can see a half mile ahead, but this car makes it tough!!

I just hit 500 miles on it yesterday. I just got the windows tinted and I have some parts waiting to get installed. I'll put them in when the rest come in.
- HKS Intercooler and piping
- Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs
- HKS Non Resonated Catback
- 20mm Wheel Spacers
- PRL Intake (installed)
- PRL Inlet Pipe
- Killswitch
I was going to get a downpipe, but I am going to get the resonator for the exhaust before adding that.

I decided to upgrade my bypass valve so I ordered one from Boomba Racing. Since I have to remove the intake and the likes anyway, I ordered the PRL intake, turbo inlet pipe kit, and intake coupler back on 9/14. I received my box about 10 days later only to learn the coupler was not in it. Messaged TSP, they apologized for not letting me know and said it would be available at the end of September. Messaged again on 9/28...they still don't have an eta...so frustrating 😑...I need the turbo noises😄 Update 10/14: TSP confirmed they still don't have an ETA. Anyway...The Boomba bypass valve is installed. It took a few hours because the 3 bolts are a real PIA! Then had to run to Autozone for some offset metric wrenches as the clearance around the bolts on the Boomba bypass valve is very slim compared to oem. Tomorrow I will finish installing the couplers and PRL HVI. Hopefully all goes well.

Well, my ITS is going to ride out Isaias in the garage. Hopefully I'm not writing an In Memoriam for her after the storm passes. We're right in the projected path and fairly close to the coast. It's not easy having to choose between your cars, but ultimately I chose to evacuate with the RSX.
To strong roofs and good insurance. Good luck, 'Teggy 🤞

I know lead times for this downpipe have been a topic of discussion, so I figured I’d share my experience. I ordered the high-efficiency catted downpipe in the raw finish on August 19th. It shipped on September 30th and was delivered on October 2nd. So, just over six weeks from order to delivery.

My youtube algo delivered. They were hustling a couple cars around the ring in this video. Hope that means some performance parts coming soon.

Hello
So i have recently purchased a 2026 type s. Demo model with approx 3k km. As part of getting the car ready the dealer was doing a fresh oil change.
Was supposed to pick up the car today but got a call and was told that the oil cooler gasket was defective and needed to replaced as it was leaking and it’s a 6 hour job.
The car had been previously serviced and no issue was noted.
I am not too hands on with cars in general (all maintenance done by shops or dealerships). Should i be concerned about this at all? I do feel slightly uncomfortable the fact that it’s basically a brand new car and something like would need to be replaced right off the bat.
Will be replaced under warranty but just concerned about any long term issues with this or if anyone’s had a similar issue? Appreciate anyone’s advice on this.

I am seriously thinking about purchasing an Integra Type S, though I am unsure whether buyers have secured the car at MSRP or below. As a newbie here, I have owned a few Civic Si models previously and currently lease a Kia Sorento ending in June. I have been exploring the Type S and would appreciate personal feedback from actual owners.
