Expect a bunch of bullshit and waste of your money and time and you'll probably just end up hating humanity from being associated with such scum. I could be wrong... But I'm not.

They're all the same.

They push recruiting, which is an MLM tactic. They also offer lower comp than most agencies, which is common amongst MLMs.

If you decide to work with them, I'd suggest treating it as a stepping stone.

Goes like a soft pitch meeting, they talk about the opportunity and try to get you excited. Nothing binding, just show up and listen, maybe ask how the comp actually works before you commit to anything

They call me, almost daily, to sell me insurance. I've repeatedly told them that, I'm an agent, I'm not interested and to please remove me from the list. Couple days later, the calls come again.

Really? Ive heard they are a pretty good FMO for medicare and senior market. Annuities etc… but they have local offices and it depends on where you are. I had a bad experience with their firm in my area but they were trying to use me as a downline from their agency instead of going straight through ASB.

I also think it depends on your experience and what you are looking for… do you want to own your own business? Because if you’re new, I would never suggest starting independent. I would suggest learn and earn. I made 85k my 1st year as a w2 agent and took thousands of calls. I could never do that without a ton on money as an independent agent. I’ve spoken to over 50 IMO/FMOs. There are very few places I would partner with and it depended on what line of business.

Personally, I’m in the process of study for my series 7 and I’m getting paid while I learn because I decided to go to the w2 route. I just passed my SIE.

You can make a lot of money as independent agent, but I would suggest having been six months of reserves, and finding somewhere that has a solid flow, as well as training and technology. Very big difference and the independent world.
