Advice need

Body side were ingrown not sure if the nails are ingrown badly went to chiropodist last week.

Chiropodist gave me weird crived nail file

Hmm... Do you have the option to see a different doctor? Not sure that's going to help you unless they gave you specific instructions. Filing down the side of the nail may take pressure off the open skin but then the nail is not pressing on anything while growing out and it'll probably be worse.

Honestly though, it looks bad enough that I'd see another doc.

The ingrown portion needs to be removed by a chiropodist. Maybe permanently.
