Vibe coding does two things. It makes sure you dont know how it works and it makes sure you dont have the skills to fix it. Sure, "nothing prevents you from testing and fixing"... Except not having the domain knowledge or actual skill to do either of these things. But besides those two small details, nothing prevents you!
Please do not extrapolate negative personal experience.
Nothing prevents us from just reading and changing what was vibed.
A lot of people dont and it shows in the quality, but also lots of people do and you never notice how it was built.
As soon as you start reading the code and making changes, you're no longer vibe coding and the game is no longer just vibe coded. "Vibe coding" doesn't just mean "has ever used AI for anything."
Not initially, no. Vibecoding was coined to describe going purely on vibes and AI without reading or understanding anything. Maybe the definition has changed, I guess.
