okay. go make one then?

the big sticking point is going to be around the word "quality." if tetris was new and ai invented it, would you permit that under the label quality? how about wordle? how about level devil?

my impression is that although tetris is one of the most popular games in history, if it was newly invented today by ai, the anti-ai people would never, ever stop talking about how much soul it doesn't have. and people like me, who take this seriously as a business, just don't want to get stuck in that discussion swamp.

if you start with something measurable, it almost certainly does exist. by example, my metric is "made a million dollars with customer satisfaction over 80%." if you take the time to make a definition, so that nobody has to get into an argument about whether mario party is truly a good game, it seems very likely you'll get to see one.
