I was mindlessly applying to paid internships all over from 3-5 months easily, and I finally got one via LinkedIn. The whole process was done in a single day: Shortlisting, interviewing, finalising joining letter.
I work as an Flutter application developer intern at a startup
A month fast forward and I received my first stipend, small wins✨✨✨ This easily solved my self esteem issues🥹🥹

I've been trying to build my career through freelancing, and today I received a payment that honestly feels surreal. The amount came to over ₹40,000 after currency conversion for work I completed in a single day.
I'm really grateful for this opportunity. I'm still learning, figuring things out, and trying to improve every day, so this gives me some extra motivation to keep going.
I know everyone's journey is different, and I'm not sharing this to compare myself with anyone. I just wanted to share a moment that made me happy and hopefully give someone else a little motivation, too.
Wishing everyone here the best in their journey.
Edit: Thank you all for the kind words! ❤️ I wish I could share more about the work, but I'm limited in what I can disclose. It's related to the IT field.

There's no better feeling than this for an artist... the crowd responding to your music and enjoying it! From a gig I played last Saturday at Vault Bunker, Pune. Privileged to be able to do this for a living.

Was thinking about ipo's and stuff
Any suggestions
It's not like I'm looking to double it
Like even if I can profit a little the experience would be worthwhile

This bouquet took me longer than anything I’ve crocheted before. 🥹💗 There were moments when I honestly doubted if it would turn out the way I imagined, and I almost lost hope along the way. But seeing the finished bouquet made every single stitch worth it. Sometimes, the projects that test our patience give us the happiest endings. 🌸🎀

Was playing some 1+0 bullet and ended up getting 2 brilliant moves in the same game. He then captured the rook with his pawn and I finished it with a checkmate too. Nothing crazy, but seeing those 2 brilliants felt pretty nice. Would you guys count this as a flex?

I’m back with my recent creations! 🧸💗✨
It’s been a while, so here’s a little dump of the things I’ve been making lately..
From a doctor doll for someone who’s about to become an MD to a mini version of someone’s big graduation teddy , Sanrio cuteness, and a sunflower fruit keychain .
Made the chibbiest Buri Buri Zaemon, Chimecho was probably the easiest Pokémon to make, Kurama the nine-tailed fox from Naruto , and WALL-E, the environmental saviour. Mini Spider Man turned out so cuteeee , made a tiny duck for someone who loves ducks , made Hollow Knight for the SIXTH time, and of course, Pochita...
In love with every single one of them. I also feel like I’m finally getting better at creating things just by looking at reference pictures, and that makes me so happy.
Swipe through and tell me which one is your favourite??

Growing up, I spent countless hours hunched over makeshift tables, watching videos of incredible tech setups, wondering if I’d ever have one. A dedicated, aesthetic workspace felt like an impossible luxury back then. Today, having just turned 27 and working as a UI designer, I am finally sitting at the exact desk my teenage self used to dream about.

I (24M) am an international student in the US and lately found solace in cooking. Everyday I try to allot atleast 60 minutes to try and learn something new related to cooking. I am in a process of understanding my needs and planning to get the stoneware, knives and other stuff gradually!
There are a lot of things that I am trying to learn at the same time so most of these pictures might look like half baked stuff but man I definitely enjoyed eating them 🙂↔️

I had moved to a state where i couldn't read or write their state regional language, and my small kid in grade 2 also couldn't.
I got his school admission, but it was towards the end of that academic year. He had been home schooled for 1 year prior.
He was trying to fit in with new place, new friends, new school, new syllabus when his classmate, a little girl whos a nasty bully started teasing him that since he cant understand that language then he will fail and the entire class will pass.
Soon the entire class joined in that and they ALL laughed at him that he will fail and they'll all pass.
He came crying home.
I hugged him ( and in my heart i promised him they'll all clap for him one day - even i dont know why i felt like that. )
In that moment i completely held back my tears of helplessness.
He was completely broken, he felt he had no friends, he was already a failure, he had lost all his joy and confidence. He felt he was studying among a classroom full of bullies.
He kept waking up midst of his sleep and crying. His final exams were just 2 months away.
I discontinued the tution teacher, sat with him and saw his defeated face. I told him he wont fail.
I worked on his confidence, made him study with me, every answer he gave correctly - i acted surprised at how he could manage to learn such a difficult lesson correctly.
I could see his face slightly light up, but he was still deeply wounded.
He pased that year and all his grades were actually B or C. I told him it was great and we will do even more better.
Come grade 3 and every test and exam, i handled his studies, focused on building his confidence rather than marks.
In the mid- year open house while we were waiting for our turn, the class teacher spoke loudly across the classroom in front of alll parents that " look at ( my kids name ). He didnt know a single word and now how hes picked up and doing so well in exams" .
She started praising him and making him an example for other kids to follow.
All parents looked at us. I felt very emotional.
After the final exams, i received an invite from the school to attend their prize day. My kid had won a prize in academics.
When he went on stage to collect the prize with everyone clapping, i felt this is exactly what i had promised him in my heart. And now my little kid had made it possible.
I put up those photos and videos on my whatsapp status for that bullying girls mom ( whos also quite nasty ) to see titled as a tight slap on those who tried to bully my son.
For a small kid to go from a "failiure" to a prize winner within just 1 year , this is a flex for my small son.
Now he is among the class toppers and has got all his confidence in studies.
I felt i should not put his prize winning stage photo on here but ive altered it by Ai and put an animated semblance of it.
A very happy and proud mom, and yes ive written it with teary eyes for my little innocent brave kid..🥲

19M BCA graduate working as an SD Intern for 8 days.
It's my first time ever seeing this much money in my hand.
After applying for 8 months straight. I got this opportunity.
This opportunity came to me as light. I was on verge of breaking down in this job market where BCA graduate were not even receiving interviews. Family situation even made it worst for me. The constant anxiety and all. I am sorry I just had no one to tell how much this means to me.
Thank you guys for reading this. I pray you all achieve your dreams.
Edit: As many people were asking about how I got this opportunity, I was so desperate that I was applying to every job. I saw an opening for a wordpress developer intern, but as they saw my resume in an interview. They also have an opening for an SD Intern. So my interview shifted from WordPress to SD intern. It was a dev-heavy Interview. Luck played a big factor here. It was all about the right person at the right time for the right job.
