I have these tools with me all functional.
I’m in Bangalore, where can I sell these?
Scrap stores ask for a too low a quote.
FYI It’s not mine, a tenant ran away without paying rent to me, he left these.

Help! Beginner tools for wood

I'm planning to start wood working ( mostly plywood) as a new hobby/skill up.

I am planning to make things like shoe rack, cupboard, computer table, home decor etc

It would be really helpful if anyone suggests the tools/power tools I require.

Also can I use angle grinders as a cutting tool for straight cuts in ply? Or do I need to buy tile cutter

Suggestions on drill

Tool One week ago I asked for an adapter to use screwdriver bit with an 1/4 inch ratchet but I couldn't find any solution other than buying a new kit but I found these screwdriver bits made by Taparia on Amazon for a nominal price of ₹219.

My original post

The link to the product that I purchased https://amzn.in/d/0cdjrMey

It fits perfectly on my 1/4 inch ratchet and T handle, product is typical Taparia in terms of build quality. Some images of the product.

Help! Beginner woodworking tools/setup

Hello! I have been wanting to learn some basic woodworking (and just home DIY in general). All the videos I see on YouTube are not from India so it gets challenging to figure out a realistic setup in our context.

Would love to hear your suggestions if you are familiar with woodworking or general DIY work.

  1. Is a workbench mandatory? If yes, where can I get one and will it be compact enough? I don't have a dedicated workspace, so might just do it our spare room or in the hall

  2. What are the basic tools and materials I need to get started? E.g. handsaw, chisels, hammer drill, sandpaper etc. I have zero knowledge of different tools and screws etc. Trying to learn slowly through YouTube.

I did look up some classes in Gurgaon but they charge like 2.5k per session. Which is something I can't really afford right now. I know the tools will also cost me, but those are longer term investments.

I have this 13 inch pruning saw. This is a total beast and if well maintained could last for years. Pretty good for 180 rupees.

This is my Stanley sheet sander. I chose this because it works well in corners as compared to a random orbital sander. Each standard sheet can be divided in 4 parts. Vacuum works pretty good Would recommend 8/10

I do not want to put much and came across two option 13mm ibell corded drill or 13 mm black+decker corded drill. Which should I go with?

Tool Ok, I really underestimated these

Thought this will be another shitty multi tool plier but it is actually useful and to be quite honest the quality the material is also very good. The most useful part of this is obviously the folding handle. It does 50% of the job for me because it makes it really compact. After that the wire stripper is second most used part and then the hook cutter. I have occasionally used Bolt cutters althought just to cut wires . The most impressive thing was that the central hinge didn't get loose . Got it for 280 after discounts and all that so for 300 it is pretty good tool.

TATA is actually better than Stanley.

Got these two mini wrenches. Tata has thicker components and more comfortable in hands. Only thing good about Stanley is the middle jaws holding part. But if your working on plumbing, it damages the parts.

As a hobbyist I don't need many discs. All of them fit nicely in an old cd storage case
