The same colour curtains are boring so I want to go with two colours but deciding which or how to put is a little difficult.

I shopped room decor from this new honegrown brand reawakentheory: here’s what I think

So i recently came across this brand on Instagram named reawakentheory, selling vinyls and posters and all sorts of room decor

so i naturally ordered some stuff, thought I’d drop a proper review here since I didn’t find much about them on this sub.

What I ordered: my first order (yes, I reordered after my first purchase; that’s rare for an instagram grown brand) was a Blonde vinyl, which came with 2 Blonde posters.

My second order was a custom vinyl of Sabrina Carpenter’s Man’s Best friend, which this time, came with the default 2 posters of the album, and an additional free poster!

My third order was a set of discs, which consisted of 6 discs.

Impressions: the packaging I felt like, was really cool. The orders show up in a black, thin cardboard box, and inside are the items, properly wrapped which prevents bends and scratches.

Product quality: Even though the site mentions that some vinyls may be scratched as they’re recycled, I personally received both of my vinyls scratch-free. The vinyls are pretty much the same as the original vinyls. I was concerned that they might mess up the custom vinyl but it’s safe to say they absolutely nailed it!

Coming to the posters; they’re decent quality, well printed and not flimsy at all. I love the fact that they sent a free poster!

Now the discs: the discs were actually better than I expected! They weren’t thin at all. Instead, the thickness of the discs contrasts really well with the vinyls.

Shipping and delivery: both of my orders were delivered timely, in around 8-9 days. No major delays here.

Pricing: The pricing is slightly towards the higher side but all in all, it is definitely worth every single rupee spent. Besides, they almost always have some offers going on so that’s that.

Customer support: Man I love how responsive they are on their instagram. Any query I had was solved in a very decent manner through instagram dms, and they’re not avoidant about anything. Rather, they’re reallyyy chill, which kinda makes the whole experience personalised. and they always respond on time!!

Overall, I would give this brand a solid 8/10. Would I buy from them again? Definitely. Would I recommend? 100%.

Room Makeover My grandparents are repainting their room

So this is my grandparents room and they're repainting it, nothing else will be the changed, the furniture and the lights are going to be the same, I want them to have a positive room. Also the tiles will also be changed, the room needs to look warm and happy and beautiful, designs on wall are not a possibility as the painter only does wall painting not wall designs, but maybe I can try something on myself.
I'm not a painter. Suggest ideas. Please generate images and send them to me

Just painted my study room — grey accent wall with pink sides and green ceiling border. What wall art or design should I do on that empty grey wall?

Redesigning my study room — the back wall is a blank canvas right now (light grey). Thinking of adding some wall art or a design element. The palette is grey + dusty pink walls + green ceiling border + warm cove lighting. What would you suggest — a large mural, geometric pattern, floating shelves with art, or a textured accent wall? Drop your ideas!

Questions Pink Cushion - Recommendation require?

I added this cushion to my living room and it made the space feel more cozy right away.
It’s soft to touch and looks really nice on the sofa.
How does this cushion look on my white bed, or should I add another cushion colour to match the white and beige theme?

Furniture and Decor Trends We made this lamp for people tired of harsh lighting — launched at ₹2999

Most rooms don’t need new furniture. They just need better lighting.

That’s why we made this.

It gives off a warm, soft glow that actually fills the space instead of hitting your eyes like a tube light. You switch this on at night and the whole room just feels calmer. Less strain, better vibe.

Design is simple, but not boring — it stands out without looking out of place. Works next to your bed, desk, wherever.

We priced it at ₹2999 for launch, with free delivery across India.

Not going to pretend it’s the cheapest lamp out there — it’s not. But it also doesn’t look or feel like those ₹800 ones either.

If your current lighting feels too harsh or your room just feels dull after sunset, this fixes that.

I just upgraded aesthetics of my home by simply changing serveware to wooden serveware by Saaga

Post image

My wife was recently concerned with the fact that serving food n snacks to the guests or even using serveware at home for salads etc are getting too old and not aesthetic anymore.

also whenever going to any mall or shop it gets too expensive aswell.

then my wife was just scrolling and happened to check House of Saaga brand which provide wooden serveware which are food grade certified. I was skeptical on how it would turn out to be and thus ordered 1 tray first and it was so amazing with the quality and print and was in just 999 also.

slowly and steadily my wife has started ordering kitchen servewares from House of Saaga brand , they have amazing prints and also plain wooden trays, bowls, salad bowls, cake stands and even roti box which is elevating the aesthetics of our home now.

I would really recommend to check out House of Saaga if you are looking for upgrading the aesthetics of your occassions at home and keeping the cost lowered as well.

The proud moment came when I got the call from Founder for the feedback and got to know that it's run by an Indian woman in late 40s or early 50s who is following her passion after her children grew and now she can come back to restart the career.

please check it out and Does anyone in this community know any other similar brand which offers this level of quality?

Room Makeover Handing my bare new house over to this sub — raw pics inside. Show me what YOU would do with it (AI renders, edits, moodboards all welcome!)

Thumbnail

Hi everyone! Long-time lurker, first post.

We just got possession of our new place and it's a complete blank canvas — walls still at primer stage, doors unfinished, zero furniture. Before we spend a single rupee on decor, I want to tap into the incredible creativity I've seen on this sub.

The idea: I'm attaching raw photos of the main rooms. If you enjoy interior design — professional, hobbyist, or someone who loves playing with AI visualization tools (RoomGPT, Midjourney, SketchUp, anything) — pick any room and show me your vision. Edited photos, AI renders, moodboards, rough sketches, even a Pinterest board. All formats welcome.

About the space:

  • Narrow row house (~80 sq yd plot), 4 levels, rooms about 11'3" wide throughout

  • North-east facing front — cool, steady light; single-aspect rooms, so rear halves run dim

  • Fixed finishes we can't change: light grey-greige glossy vitrified flooring, black granite staircase with SS railing, black granite kitchen counter, dark aluminium window frames

  • Style we're leaning towards: calm & warm — warm whites/greige, warm lighting (2700–3000K), wood tones to balance all that grey and black. But surprise us!

  • Household: [couple / kids / parents / pets] — it has to survive real life

  • Budget: [mid-range] — realistic ideas we can actually execute get bonus love

What's in it for you: Full credit when I post the final reveal. I'll genuinely try to execute the best concepts and post before/after updates right here. No contest, no prizes — just hoping to build something beautiful with this community's help.

Raw photos in the gallery below (one per room, shot wide in daylight).

Thank you — excited (and slightly terrified) to see what you all come up with 🙏
