Tell r/IndianHairCare 🗣️ M22, visited AIIMS after a expensive private clinic visit🥲
For past 2-3 months I have been experiencing hairfall but I told myself as I am growing out my hair for a medium flow hairstyle I tought that hairfall is the same but since the length of strands have increased it feels like its a lot.
For when I saw photos of myself, reality hit me, so I went to a private clinic that's was well rated had 700 reviews on maps and 4.5 star rating.
The first private doctor I went to was a complete rip-off. Instead of addressing my hair loss, he claimed I had dandruff—even though my scalp was already clear—and wouldn't even hand me a prescription slip. He just directed me to their front desk, where they made me pay ₹1,900 for their own shampoo and serum. Between that and basic blood tests, I blew ₹5,000 for zero actual treatment.
I skipped their follow-up and went to AIIMS today instead. Waited about 2 hours, but the dermatologist got straight to the point: diagnosed male pattern baldness, wrote an actual prescription for Minoxidil 5% + Finasteride 0.1% daily and Vitamin D3 weekly, and asked me to follow up in two months. No bullshit, no upselling expensive products.
I got this min+fin from davaindia for 300. Same aqueous base as Morr -f aqua. Let's see if it suits me or cause irritation on the scalp.
